Hey. This is a one-shot. Let me give you a background. Percy and Annabeth had a fight, so Annabeth leaves to go to San Fransisco. Percy goes there to get Annabeth back. It's kinda short but cute. Enjoy!

Percy's POV

I was soaking wet, having been in the rainstorm. But I didn't care. Annabeth was the world to me and I wasn't going to let her slip through my fingers like sand. I knocked on the unfamiliar door, hoping Annabeth would answer it. No one answered. But I wasn't going to lose hope. I knocked again.

After a few seconds, I decided no one was home and I would just come back tomorrow. I turned around to the heavy rain. "What are you doing here?" My head whipped back around to see Annabeth in her pajamas, looking beautiful, even though she had a scowl plastered on her face. I walked back up to the door.

"Can you please forgive me? You're my whole life. I can't live without you. I'll do anything. Just please . . . please forgive me," I pleaded. I was even thinking of getting on my knees.

"I . . . I don't know," she said quietly. She looked away and started to close the door. I pulled her back, closer to me.

"Please. I'll do anything you ask." She pulled away and crossed her arms.

"If I ask you to go halfway around the world for no reason, would you do it?" she asked.

That was easy. "No." Annabeth looked surprised. "Because then I would have to leave you."

At first, she didn't show any emotion. Then she smiled and her eyes lit up. She wrapped her arms around my neck. "Good answer."

She pulled me into a kiss with the rain making Annabeth's hair a shade darker and making it stick to the frame of her face. I brushed away the strand of hair and pulled her closer, not wanting to let go.

She ran her hand through my hair. I reluctantly pulled away to catch my breath. She still had a smile on her face.

"You're cute when you're wet. A strand always gets in your eyes." I laughed. She just broke the moment.

"So you're coming back to New York with me?"

"Only if you promise not to go halfway around the world." She slipped her arms around my waist and buried her face in my chest as the heavy rain slowed to a drizzle.
