I don't own Peter Pan and the Pirates characters.

Eems stood near King Kooh as the latter remained on his throne. He viewed him scowling.

''Repsaj usually stands with you in this pyramid. I don't see him recently,'' Eems said.

''My brother's wife was sick and died in her chamber hours ago. I almost comforted him, but he wished to be with Ailicec. I remember him always kissing Ailicec and embracing her. Repsaj was on his knees as he shrieked by the woman he loved and tears ran down his face.''

Eems was worried. He began to tremble. ''Hopefully Ailicec's spirit won't haunt us.'' A thoughtful expression formed on his face. ''Ailicec will probably comfort the man she loves,'' Eems said. He viewed King Kooh rolling his eyes.

''Ailicec's spirit might be a decaying one and frighten Repsaj. He will be a coward near Ailicec. Repsaj never dreads the thought of your enemies killing him while he battles them,'' Eems said.

King Kooh still scowled. ''I remember Repsaj abandoning me during a battle weeks ago. I was enraged. I wanted to know why Repsaj abandoned me. He was near his sick wife. He always worried about her during battles.''

Eems smiled. ''We can try to cheer your brother up.'' He saw a smile on King Kooh's face.

''Good idea, Eems,'' King Kooh said.

''We can tell Repsaj a story about a wife caring for her spouse,'' Eems said. He tilted his head in confusion after King Kooh scowled again.

''EEEEMMSSS!'' King Kooh shouted.

''Your brother will be too sad to protect you from enemies now,'' Eems said. His smile returned. ''I can protect you from enemies.'' Eems watched as King Kooh rolled his eyes again.

''You are too clumsy to protect me, Eems.''

''At least your enemies aren't trespassing and trying to kill you.''

King Kooh rolled his eyes another time. ''You probably won't notice anything at all. My spirit will always haunt you after enemies kill me.''

''How are we going to cheer Repsaj up?'' Eems asked. He saw King Kooh's sudden thoughtful expression. He tilted his head in confusion after the latter's smile came back. Eems heard every word King Kooh muttered. He smiled again. ''Good idea!'' he said to King Kooh.

After standing, King Kooh walked to Repsaj's chamber. His eyes settled on Repsaj as he still sobbed near Ailicec. ''Repsaj?'' he muttered. He viewed Repsaj standing and approaching him.

''Why are you in my chamber?'' Repsaj asked.

King Kooh glanced at Eems as the latter stood near him. He focused on Repsaj and smiled again. ''Eems and I are going to cheer you up.'' He watched as Repsaj's eye widened.

''You'll never be alone,'' Eems informed Repsaj. He and King Kooh smiled as they embraced Repsaj. Eems squeezed the whimpering man and continued to smile.
