Prologue
Lucy's POV
I was sitting on the park bench trying to write the perfect song for the perfect boyfriend. But when I saw him with another girl, I just didn't believe my eyes. I saw him kissing her. I know that now I have to face him now and hit that bitch.
"What the hell do you think you are doing? Kissing this bitch?"
"Look, I can explain." I was so mad that I didn't care what he wanted to say. I glance at the girl and I see her smiling. In that instinct I knew she did this on purpose. But then I glance at his eyes and whatever he is going to say to me is a lie, but I listen anyways.
"She kissed me and I was about to push her off. I would never cheat on you, Luce."
"That is not true." This bitch actually has the nerve to talk to me. I could care less what this fucker has to say.
"You told me that you were going to break up with her and go out with me." Okay, my patience is gone. And I know that now I have to get out of this hell of a town. But I have to deal with this shit now.
"Really, that's what he said?" I look at him with the saddest eyes I could ever give him.
"Luce, you know that I would never back out on my word. You know I want to be with our baby." He walks towards me but I tell him to stop and I step back.
"I can't do this, Beau. Why were you with her in the first place?"
"Because she wanted to go to an interview and wanted me to go with her." Was he telling me the truth? Nope, his eye twitched and I know that in that moment he just lied to my face. Idiot.
"Liar." With that I leave him behind and start running to my car. When I look back he is following me.
"Lucy, we have to talk about this."
"There is nothing to talk about." He grabs my arm and kissed me so hard and passionately. I push him off and try to get in my car, but he is too strong and I am knocked out.
