The occupants of the Burrow woke to a blood curdling scream. Hermione jumped up, wand out, to find her best friend hyperventilating. "Ginny? What's wrong?" Hermione knew the answer, but couldn't bring herself to believe it. It had been only two days, and the nightmares had already started.

"They were... No! They were gonna... Harry." Ginny started to cry. Warm arms enveloped her. Confused, at first, with whose arms they were, but Ginny soon relaxed in Harry's arms. When did he walk in? Had he heard what the dream was about? By the time everyone was in her room with their wands drawn she had managed to control herself. Her family, realizing what was going on soon went downstairs, for they were now afraid of what their dreams would bring them.

Meanwhile, Harry stayed with Ginny and whispered in her ear, "Everyone is okay. I am here now." Ginny fell asleep (without any nightmares) minutes later with Harry still holding her.

Downstairs, the Weasley brothers talked to one another about how easily the boy-who-lived calmed their little sister. "I don't like that," Ron simply came out and said, "my best mate and Ginny. I don't like the way he held her." They all nodded and said "Yeah." Hermione watched from a distance, knowing the boys were most likely up to no good, and probably planning to do torment Harry about him being with Ginny. Hermione decided she needed to put a stop to whatever it was. Because, if anyone deserved Ginny, it was Harry. "Whatever you were planning I'd like to put a stop to it now," Hermione said, coming up behind the boys. "and why would we be up to something?" George asked curiously, "It's Ginny and Harry that are up to something," This made Hermione so mad, "Ginny's having nightmares about Harry dying! He is only trying to help her! If you think they are up to something, go upstairs and see for yourselves!" With that, she walked away, to go sit in the living room with Mr. & Mrs. Weasley.

The brothers all look at each other, with a nod from his brothers, Bill walked upstairs to Ginny's room. Gently pushing the door open, Bill stuck his head in the room. He saw Ginny asleep on Harry's shoulder. Harry was holding her, rubbing her back, Harry looked barley awake. Harry looked up at Bill, Bill nodded and left the room.

When Bill came back downstairs, Hermione stopped him before he reached the kitchen, where all the other boys were waiting. "I told you. I can't believe you, of all people, wouldn't trust Harry with Ginny." That hurt Bill, he was looking out for his sister. When he walked back in the kitchen, Bill smiled and said, "We don't have to kill him, yet."
