Hello fellows!
I'm desparately searching for a fanfiction depicting Severus' path to becoming a Death Eater. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the story.
This is what I remember:
Severus is at Malfoys, at some social event, where he meets Voldemort for the first time. When our dear megalomaniac (note sarcasm) introduces himself as "Lord Voldemort", Severus tells him that's impossible as Voldemort is a searched for criminal and it would be nothing short of suicidal to attend an official gathering such as this. Malfoy, standing next to Severus, becomes incredible pale when he hears this, believing his life to be over, but to his fortune, Voldemort merely laughs, complimenting Severus on being very interesting/brave. Lucius tells him later that it truly was Voldemort he just spoke to and insulted.
I also remember Narcissa being rather sympathetic to Severus' problems and her (or dear sweet Bella? *sarcasm*) giving him the robes he wears at the aformentioned Malfoy gathering, to which Severus was invited by Lucius (who is already out of school)
Please, if anyone knows the name of this story, review, 'cause I'm going crazy searching the whole of Harry Potter fanfictions for it.
I'm going to delete this once I've found the story.
