A/N I love this little one-shot I made! This is set during ALAYM - musical-verse and most definitely Fiyeraba! Read and rate and please tell me if my rating is too paranoid.
Hold me too tight
Stars penetrated the darkness, and shone through the trees of Gillikin's great forest. Fiyero led Elphaba into a dark clearing and sat on a fallen log.
"Fiyero, where are we?"
"Away. Far enough away from the world to be ourselves." he replied.
"Well, in that case," Elphaba replied with a gentle smile.
Fiyero returned her smile and leaned down nervously to kiss her. She returned it, and pressed herself into his body. They pulled away, almost simultaneously, gasping for air.
"Fiyero, I can't believe this!" Elphaba breathed, launching into a passionate kiss.
When both of them were breathing heavily, Fiyero took her hands and knelt on the ground. He locked her into a tight embrace, and she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Elphaba Thropp, I love you with all my heart and I want to be with you, every day. I have never loved anyone else, and I will never love another more than I love you."
"Oh, Fiyero," she replied breathless and giddy. She pushed him to the floor, and kissed him again. He stroked her hair, and curled it around his fingers. Despite his mild affection, Elphaba could feel his errection between her legs, and made her final decision.
"Fiyero, I'm ready," she said timidly.
"Ready? Are you sure?" he replied gently.
"I've never been more certain about anything."
He unbuttoned his trousers and allowed Elphaba to remove her own underwear. Although he was desperate for her, he waited for her to slip off his trousers, and lay on top of her.
"Elphaba, I'm scared. I've never done this before."
Elphaba was stunned. She'd thought that he had bedded hundreds of girls in his days at Shiz.
"Never?" she whispered.
"Even as shallow as I was, I couldn't do that to all those girls. I couldn't ruin their futures'. I couldn't do it. Even then. But now, I'm ready,"
The bright, shimmering moon rose high above them, keeping a silent vigil over the two lovers, traitors, as some would say. The stars twinkled bright among the bare tree branches. The winds were calm, the clouds were absent. The passionate love created by the two young people radiated from the clearing, and proved to the world that neither would hide behind lies again.
When eventually Fiyero withdrew, Elphaba was panting. She lay in his arms, and whispered to him.
"What? What is it?"
"It's just, for the first time, I feel- wicked."
She paused for a moment, and he wrapped his arms around her, comfortingly.
"I just wish," she let a tear roll down her face, and she whispered at a level that was almost inaudible. "I just wish I could be beautiful for you."
"Elphaba-" he began, but he was cut off.
"You don't have to tell me that I am. You don't have to lie to me."
"It's not lying. It's looking at things another way. I love you." Fiyero replied, pulling Elphaba closer to him.
"I love you too," she murmured, her face deep within his chest.
And there she slept, protected by her true love, until the rays of dawn made the trees glisten with gold. A new chapter had begun...
