I was sitting in my chair waiting for my so called lover to arrive knowing any moment from now our relationship will be over. I will let her know that I know about her being friends with our creators and I will tell her that from now on I want nothing to do with her. I hear the sound of a door opening.
"Bonjour ma cherie" she whispers before giving me a kiss "how are you"
"I could ask you the same thing" and while saying that sentence my voice breaks
"I was fine but now I don't know" I show her the picture I found after googling her name and her speciality.
"Your name is Delphine Cormier" I say "you're already done studying aren't you"
"I am so sorry"
"How can I possibly believe you after all your lies" I say now very close to bursting into tears. "You told him I know these girls"
"I did that because he says you are in danger"
"OF WHAT" I yell now getting really angry "You don't know do you"
She shakes her head "Cosima you have to believe me, if I wouldn't be on your side why didn't I tell him about Kira"
"Don't you dare come near that little girl, you can torture me all you want but you have to stay away from that little girl"
"I didn't and I won't" she yells, I can see pain in her eyes. Maybe she isn't lying after all.
"Why would I believe you" I ask again
"Because I love you Cosima, I love you and I will help you figure out the barcodes in your DNA. I want to be the one you grow old with. I want to help you"
Her words sounded to believable to be fake because let's be honest I figured out she was my monitor quick enough she obviously isn't a good liar. In my mind I decide that I believe her and I press my lips against hers. She quickly responds by kissing me back and putting her arms around my waist.
"Before we do the research, let's make crazy science" she whispers in an irresistible and incredibly sexy voice.
"I love you too" I whisper back
