Kioku(Memory)

Where has the time gone?
I awake to find myself dead,
My blank memory leaves me dead.
I know nothing of the past.

Where shall I start?
I look around for signs,
My blank memory leaves me baffled.
I rummage through the present.

Who am I?
I feel sad and lost,
My blank memory leaves me grim.
I pray to the distant future.
