Their Dance
They danced slowly. To a tune that was very familiar to both of them. No words were said as he skillfully spun her around. No words were needed.
It would destroy the magic, their magic.
Their actions spoke louder than any words. The look he gave her, full of love. And the way she caressed his cheek. The dance was at its high, and so were they. It was more like they were floating over the floor - gracefully, without hesitation.
As the dance was beginning to end she sighed contently. It was like the first time they danced. She could still remember it.
The melody they both loved, was now fading away and they were left with nothing but silence.
They stood still holding one another, each lost in their own precious memory. The memory of their wedding.
Has it really been ten years already? She thought it sounded like an eternity but in reality the years passed by in the blink of an eye.
Tears were glistening in her eyes as a wave of nostalgia crashed over her.
Why was she crying?
She held onto him as if she was afraid he might disappear.
As already mentioned, to them words didn't mean a thing. But tonight for some reason she felt the need for words, the need to tell him what she was feeling, what he meant to her. "I love you".
And that was more than enough.
He smiled at that, a smile that was only reserved for her. Not even Mistukuni got that one.
But now his thoughts weren't of Mitsukuni. Takashi leaned down towards her and kissed her. Slowly, lovingly. But it soon turned. As both wanted, needed more.
It was another dance that now began. A dance, far more passionate as the previous one.
And as they stumbled towards their bedroom both knew that they would last another ten years, and then another ten years, and another…
Yep, I'm obsessed with Ouran. It's sad, I know.
