I just wrote this after seeing a picture of the part one of the Nightmare films where the demons make the deal with Freddy. He looked like he was having so much fun. xD
I may write a companion one shot, seeing as I did put something that could allow for that.
Disclaimer: Not Mine.
Enjoy-
Maybe he was insane. It was possible. It certainly would explain the sadistic behavior he was oh so fond of. Yeah, maybe he was insane. Imagine, Frederick Charles Krueger admitting he is insane. Call the tabloids, we have liftoff.
But seriously, there had to be a reason for the euphoric happiness that he was experiencing. Normal, sane people would not find this a joyful occasion. This was the type of event that normal people would stare at in disbelief for hours on end with that moronic look before running away screaming. Of course, Freddy Krueger, if anything, was not normal. He may have doubts about his mental status, but there was no way on Earth that he was normal.
Well, at least that was established. Now he could go to his little Uniqueness Anonymous meetings and get up in front of the class to talk about his experiences. Maybe he'd get a little bitty piece of metal or badges or whatever. There was a plus. And if the reader hasn't figured out, Freddy loves sarcasm. However, sarcasm isn't exactly meant for written word. Oh well.
Back on topic, he shouldn't be happy. Apparently Freddy Krueger deserved to "burn in hell" or something for his sins. What did these devout religious people believe in these days? The times were so hard to keep up with. Plus, it wasn't like the brats didn't deserve it either, but he digresses.
The feelings were like a drug. Each and every breath led to a high better than the last. The rush of power pumped through every one of his veins, even as his body burned to a crisp. The pleasure couldn't rival any human emotion he had ever felt. Perchance the onlookers (concerned parents his ass) cheering as their worst enemy and fear morbidly died felt an eighth or so of this.
If there was one thing for sure, this was the second happiest moment of his life. As the demons gave him the strength he so desired, Freddy Krueger let out a laugh of pure glee. This was real! This was happening! And it was happening to him of all people.
Just sometimes, it paid to be the evilest soul on Elm Street.
