Jade looked up and saw Tori.
"Park it," she said
Tori sighed.
"Why is Cat still mad at me?"
Jade sighed. Tori really didn't get it.
"You kissed her boyfriend," Jade explained, "Girls don't like it when another person kisses their boyfriends. They don't like it when you're all over their boyfriends. I mean when you kissed Beck I felt like strangling you"
"I never thought of it as a big deal," Tori said
"THAT'S the problem," Jade replied, "You DIDN'T THINK. Tori, you need to put yourself in the other people's shoes. How would YOU feel in that situation?"
"Listen I'm sorry," Tori told Jade.
"I appreciate that," Jade said, "But right now I'm not the one you need to apologize to. You have to apologize to Cat"
"Yeah but she'll probably get mad at me"
"I wouldn't be surprised. Wouldn't you get mad if someone was kissing YOUR BOYFRIEND?"
Tori thought about that. She wouldn't like it at all. She would feel like her space had been invaded.
"That must have been how you felt when I kissed Beck," Tori said quietly.
"Hell to the yeah," Jade said
She knew she had screwed up bad. She had screwed up by kissing Beck on her second day and she really screwed up by kissing Cat's boyfriend. She had let the situation get way out of control.
