Cass stood beside the bridge looking out into the night. She clasped her hand tightly around the bar and she cringed as the snow bit at her fingers.
So much had happened lately that she wanted to forget, but it wasn't letting her forget. Everything swum in her mind like a plague. Everything reminded her of Sam.
She wanted to forget so badly. It made her cry. Tears began streaming down her face and the wind caught them and tore them from her. Everything that she had was taken from her, be it good or bad.
She wasn't allowed to keep anything. Regardless of what it was.
Anything. Just to be able to own something. Keep something, forever.
Sam was gone.
bA/N:/B Yes, this was written in about five minutes after reading a few other fictions and listening to some horribly sad songs. This is the first fic I've posted here, more coming soon.
