Roxas's POV
Namine hadn't come.
It wasn't me, Roxas kept telling himself. It was her decision. She didn't have to come.
But what had it been, if not him?
He tried shaking the thoughts from his head. It was no use.
I have to keep going. No looking back.
No matter what.
So he kept pushing forward. He had no idea where he was going or even where he was already. He had only been to a few worlds. When they let him leave at all. And then he was only allowed to see certain parts.
The wind blew cold on his face. It was snowy, wherever he was.
Just stay warm.
He thought back to Namine. He wished desperately to be back at the castle with her. But he had no clue where this place was. He couldn't teleport back.
The shadows rose before him.
They're not such a big deal, he thought.
Then others.
Perfect.
He readied himself for the fight of his life.
Namine, maybe it's good you didn't come.
