Disclaimer; The only character I own is my OC, Princess Aurora Stardust. I own none of the other characters or MLP, in any way shape or form. This is the return of Sombra and will star Celestia, Luna, Rory, and more than likely the mane 6. Enjoy. Reviews would be awesome. Ideas are welcome as well, I'll give credit where credit is due.

Celestia paced about the castle, her hooves making an ominous "click-clack" sound against the marble floor. Her younger sister, Luna, glanced up from the scroll she was reading and watched her for a moment before speaking.

"What is it, Tia? You've been acting strange today." Luna walked towards the older alicorn and awaited her answer. As though startled from a deep trance, Celestia jumped slightly and looked at her sister, sighing deeply.

"Can you not feel the dark presence, Lulu?" She asked the younger alicorn, using her beloved sister's nickname. "Do you not feel the nagging feeling of a terrible tragedy about to occur? Something is desperately wrong, dear sister. Something that is bigger than the two of us, Cadence, and Twilight Sparkle combined cannot overcome..." She trailed off and started pacing again.

"I do feel it, Tia. But what is it, exactly?" Luna stretched out her wings and folded them back again, something she did regularly when she was in deep contemplation or was anxious or nervous about something. Celestia stood still, her back still turned to Luna.

"I don't know, sister. I haven't felt this presence since Sombra's attack on the crystal empire."

"But it couldn't be Sombra, Tia. Twilight Sparkle and her friends defeated him. We haven't seen or felt his presence since then. He's gone."

"Just because we haven't felt his presence does not mean he hasn't been in hiding. Watching us, waiting for a moment of weakness. Waiting in the shadows for us to let our guard down as he regains power and control. He may have been waiting all this time... I think we should call a meeting with the rest of the princesses and the elements of harmony... Just to be safe."

"Tia?" Luna asked as Celestia called to the royal scroll writer.

"Yes?" She asked, before explaining what she wanted written, how many, and where they were to be sent.

"What about... Princess Aurora? She needs to know too. Maybe she can help." Celestia nodded in agreement.

"Send one to Princess Aurora Stardust, as well." She then added to Luna, "It will be good to see our cousin again, anyways. We haven't seen her since the first time Sombra attacked."

With that, the royal guards were each handed a letter and sent off to their appointed destinations. Each one holding an important piece to an unsolved puzzle. None knowing the true danger Equestria was in.
