New York City

"Is that suppressed to be a pick up line?" Helena was not impressed. When a hot woman approaches you in a bar your in for a fun night. But the whole you in danger because I can see the future was definitely a new one. Just when she thought she had heard them all.

"No. In a few minutes two men will walk into the bar. They will then follow you outside with guns."

Helena glances around the bar. Finding no one. She studies the mysterious woman. She was attractive and she had ruined almost ruined Helena's plan.

"I know." Helena smirked. "That's what I want them to do."

The woman grabbed her hand her face turning blank. "Theirs a third who will arrive behind you after you defeat the two. This one will kill you."

Helena's mood sobered. She cast a quick glance backward to the marks that had just shown up. "Time for me to go."

The woman grabbed her hand as she got up. "Just be careful."

Helena gave her a small nod.

10 minutes later

As Zed left the bar she felt worried. She had been chasing this girl for almost a month to try and save her. She stopped when she heard a familiar voice behind her.

"Your going to tell me how you knew. Now turn around slowly."

Zed turned. Helena had a crossbow pointed at her. She was still wearing the same clothes but she now had a mask on her face. "I told you already. I saw it happen. I drew it." Zed reached toward her bag for the sketch but froze when a small arrow flew by her hand.

"Don't move."

"I have it in my bag. I can prove it. I saw other things to. About you. I know you name is Helena Bertinelli. I know-"

"Enough. I believe you. I stupidly believe your were trying to help me. So you get one chance and one chance only to prove it." Helena lowered her crossbow.

"How."

"The sketches slowly."

Zed did as told. Helena grabbed to outstretched drawing pad. Flipping threw it she saw herself: in the bar, being shot from behind with two bodies on the ground. The sketch that had saved her life. She flipped to the last one draw. It was of the two of them in an embrace.

"So it was a pick up line."

"That last one I just drew. Since your alive the future has changed. For now at least, your alive."

"Do all your drawings come true?" Helena questioned. The last drawing had made her unsteady. The unnamed woman had drawn what Helena had originally hoped to happen after she had dealt with the men.

"Most of the time. But the future changes."

"What's your name?"

"Zed."

"Well Zed I have some alcohol back at my hotel. We can talk more there."

"Just talk." Zed knew where this night would end. It would end in a very comfortable bed.

Helena smirked. "We'll just have to see if you really can draw the future."
