National City
"Happy birthday, Kara."
"You got me a puppy?!" Kara squealed. Holding her arm out to grab the puppy then stopping to make grabby hands at it then fulling reaching out to take it into her arms. "Hello. Ohh puppy. Your my new friend, my favorite don't tell anyone. Okay. What's your name girl. Are you a girl?" Pausing Kara lifted the puppy up to check stopping when the puppy licked her glasses. Kara continued to coo at the puppy.
"Girl." Lena watched Kara with a grin on her face. She may regret getting her girlfriend a puppy later. But for now it was worth it. Six months living together. "I thought I'd let you pick the name-"
"Comet." Kara said suddenly. "Your name is Comet. I can't wait to show you National City. The DEO. You get to meet all of our friends and everyone."
Lena laughed. Kara has an infectious happiness. When she's happy you just can't help but be happy to. She was a human puppy.
"She can be Superpuppy." Lena joked.
Kara glances up from the newly named Comet. "I can Winn make her a cape."
"Not sure if they will let you."
"But the puppy wants to be Superpuppy."
"I love you." Lena wrapped her arm around Kara. Her other arm came up to pet Comet who seemed to love as much as Kara loved her.
Kara pressed a kiss to Lena's lips. "I love you too. And so does Superpuppy."
