What do you do for a six month anniversary? Was Mari planning something? Should she be planning something? Mari loved fashion. So clothing and jewelry where probably not the best option.
Kendra sighed. Causing Mari to look up from where she had used the eyes of an eagle to look for any trouble. "What got you down?"
"Nothing."
"It's something. I can tell by your tone."
Kendra sat down on the edge of the building casting a glance down. She could barely make out the people. "It's our six month anniversary in a week and I have no idea what to get you." Kendra buried her head in her hands. "I shouldn't have told you that."
Mari laughed. "Is that what was bugging you all day?" Mari sat down wrapping her arms around her girlfriend. "As long as I have you I don't need anything else."
"Not even that belt you've wanted."
Mari really wanted that belt. "Your better than a belt. Even if the belt is by one of my favorite designers."
Kendra laughed her mood lighted. "Okay. Now back to business. Anyone need our help?"
"Not that I can see from here."
"Then lets fly around for a bit." Flying was one of Kendra's favorite things.
Mari pressed her Totem calling back an eagle. Jumping off the ledge she looked at Kendra. Her face peaceful. She loved being a hero it's how she met Kendra.
