The room was filled with a deafening roar as the last notes of the guitar played. Girls jumping and screaming their heads off with so much energy, and on the stage the band was sweating under the spotlights. Yamato smiled out to the girls and gave them a wink. This action served to send the volume of the room an octave higher. Saying their goodbyes the band exited the stage.

" Great job man." Ichiro clapped him on the back.

" You weren't so bad yourself." He smiled back. " Well I think that I gotta get home. All of those late night rehearsals have finally taken their toll on me. I'll see you guys later. "

Finding the nearest exit he rushed to his motorcycle hoping to dodge the screaming fans. Today was his lucky day apparently. Putting on his helmet he gunned the engine and raced on down the streets. Getting to his apartment he quickly got to his fridge and opened up a can of beer. Plopping down onto his sofa he let his mind wander. It had been awhile since he had much time to himself. He and his band had been too into their rehearsals and concerts for him to get much time to himself. Whatever time he got he usually spent sleeping. Today though was the last concert on their world tour. As his eyes grazed his apartment he noticed a huge pile of letters on his coffee table.

" Guess the maid put them there." He mumbled sifting through the pile. Fan mail, fan, mail, fan mail, fan… wait a sec. " Hmm this looks too fancy to be fan mail." He said as he picked up a large white envelope. It looked like it had an invitation in it. Opening the envelope he took out a beautifully embossed invitation with bells and doves dancing with ribbons. It read:

Love is a precious gift from the heavens

And true love is found as rarely as a shooting star

For it's when an angel looses their wings and comes down from heaven

That a wonderful love can be found.

Soul mates are a rarity, even rarer than love.

But when two soul mates find each other,

It is a cause for a great celebration

You are cordially invited to witness the joining of two beautiful souls

In the wedding of Takeru Ishida and Hikari Kamiya

We hope that you will be able to join the happy couple on this joyous occasion.

"My god how many years has it been?" Counting off the years with his fingers he came up with six. "Has it really been six years?"

Thinking back, six years before he and his band had gotten a contract from a well-known record label in the states. Their career started slow but before long his band had been catapulted into the top of the charts. He had talked to his family rarely and he had completely lost track of the rest of his friends. " How could I have lost touch with all of them, and for this many years too. Wait a second what's today's date?" Rushing to the calendar he found out that it was the 18th, five days before the wedding. "Shit!" He rushed into his room and started to pack while he made a few phone calls on his cell phone. His band and his manager understood what was going on and they told him that he could have the next two weeks off. Finally packed and taking his keys, he didn't notice that the answering machine had a message on it.
