"Don't leave me Sasuke, I'll go with you. Please don't leave me."
It was already two years since Sasuke left, Sakura who had been taken in as Tsunade's apprentice grew the most in Team 7. She was no longer the weakest in the team and the cute crybaby you would expect. Naruto had grown and recgonised the feelings Hinata had for him, they started going out recently. Shikamura and Temari were working their way as well as Neji and Tenten. Sakura knew she was missing something in her life; Sasuke. Maybe the only thing that Sasuke had ever said that was nice was this phrase; thank you, Sakura.
Even though Sasuke had never liked Sakura, Sakura would still try to gain acceptance from him. Sometimes it was quite frustrating to see Sakura trying to get Sasuke's attention, why Sasuke ignored her. Sakura was a pure and lovely girl, seeing her you could see she was the best. They were 12 at that time young, innocent, everything had changed when Sasuke was cursed with the seal from Orochimaru. Till this day Sakura still hates Orochimaru. Sakura had always dreamed about Sasuke returning to Konoha the way he was two years ago, but she knew it would be impossible for it to be real. Team 7's mission on retrieving Sasuke was a failure and Sakura already saw with her own eyes that Sasuke no longer cared for anyone not even a tiny bit, as well as that Sasuke didn't hesitate to kill Naruto as well as herself.
"Sakura-chan"
"Sakura-chan, come over here."
"Sakura-chan, are you listening?"
"SAKURA" shouted Naruto. Sakura responded with a stammered reply, Naruto knew she was daydreaming about something, most likely Sasuke.
"H-hai Naruto, gomen gomen." Naruto let out a sigh.
"Sakura, Tsunade has called us for a mission or something. Come on, let's get going."
"Right, lets go"
They walked in silence, no one spoke. Sakura wasn't even like her normal happy self, Naruto couldn't think of anything to do but be silent. Today was the day when Sasuke had left the Hidden village of the leaf.
The familiar trees and the smell of a hidden village, more precise the Hidden Village of the Leaf. A young man walked forwards to the gate of Konoha, he stares up into the sky. It's been a few years since he's been there, when he was there he was one of the geniuses in Konoha and a rookie. Someone in Team 7, with Hatake Kakashi the leader, a complete idiot; Uzamaki Naruto, and a girl that totally adores him; Haruno Sakura. But today, the day he left Konoha, he is here for something else something that will impact all the hidden villages. Now he's come for a different purpose; to kill the Hokage, Tsunade.
Tsunade was looking out from the window that faced the whole of Konoha, she caught sight of Sakura walking with her head down. She sighed at that sight. Nothing much had changed since they returned form the mission of retrieving Sasuke, Sakura was no longer the happy optimistic female ninja that you would see everyday. Looking up into the sky Tsunade raised her head up; it was a beautiful day blue sky, and white fluffy clouds. It was one of those days where you would think that nothing could possibly happen.
"Uh... Tsunade? Naruto and Sakura are here." whispered Shizune.
"I'll do my paperwork later, I want to relax for a while... wait... NARUTO AND SAKURA ARE HERE?? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER!!!!!" bellowed Tsunade lifting up Shizune about to strangle her unaware of her inhuman strength.
"Um Tsunade..." stammered Sakura.
"Ah... yes. I have a very important mission for you, this time it will be to find the whereabouts of Orochimaru's hideout. Kakashi, Neji, Hinata, and Shikamaru will be joining you." answered Tsunade.
"Hai!" replied Naruto and Sakura.
