Story time:
As you probably know sableye love to eat gems. Some people might say it's because of their gem like eyes, but in reality it is because of the gemstone diet that sableye's eyes look like gems.
But a long time ago a young sableye not yet having gem like eyes refused to eat any of the gems its mother provided except the occasional emerald. The mother sableye was very worried but when she tried talking about it to the father sableye he just said "just let me bring the boy down to the deep mines he'll find something he likes." Again and again she said no because she knew that the deep mines could be dangerous and she didn't want her baby to get hurt.
But one day, after he still refused to eat anything, she finally gave in. So the father sableye took his son down to the deep mines to find food. But as soon as they got there the little sableye ran off into a little hole in the wall to small for the father sableye to fit through. So he ran off and got everybody to come down and look for his son.
After a few hours of searching someone finally yelled "I found him he's over here." The mother and father sableye quickly ran over and saw him happily munching on some gold he had found nearby. They were so happy as not only had they found their son but they now knew what to feed him.
It didn't take long before he started changing into a golden sableye with a couple emeralds on his body too.
And that's the story of the first shiny sableye.
