In the world of you, the girl with the smile,
it's a world full of that silly "he said, she said"
and normally when others hear that, they sigh,
and they complain, and they say, "that's not
that big of a deal!" But they didn't know what
it's like. You did. You lived for the days that
someone stuck up for you. The days when
you glance at the petty blogs on the internet,
and you actually find something nice. And
you especially loved when the blog is cruel,
and you read the comments, and underneath
all of the name calling and "slut!" comments,
there's that one small, insignificant (but so
significant to you) comment that stuck out to you.
Can you all just shut up?
This girl has more talent in her pinky
than you have in your entire body, and
you're daring to call her an ugly, talentless
slut! Tell me, are you prettier than her?
Can you act better than her? Sing? Hm?
Didn't think so. So shut up.
Yes, you dreamed of the day when you'll read a brave,
beautiful comment like that... but that day never comes.
