The boy gathers up his supplies. He goes over to the forge and lays out a sheet of steel. Then, he draws out his desired design. The design is elegant. After that, the boy cuts the steel to a rough resemblence of his design. He uses his tongs to put the steel into the fire. After the steel becomes a bright yellowish white, he pounds the steel to his satisfaction. The boy then strengthens the steel by heating it and quicky plunging it into ice-cold water. The blade is flame like. After the blade's shape is complete, the boy makes the rest of the sword. The guard is claw-like. The hilt is gracefully curved, still retaing the straightness. The pommel is in the shape of a small soda can, with an onyx on the bottom. The onyx is black as night. Finally, he connects the two pieces together. The sword bursts into fierce black flames as soon as the boy tries to touch it.

GONG! GONG! Startled, the boy wakes up. "Get down here, Flynt!" his father shouted. It wasn't until he was downstairs that he realized he was bleeding. Then, Flynt felt a weight in his hand. He looked down to see a sword, The sword from his dream. Flynt's father asked, "What do you got there?" Flynt replied, "A sword". He proceeded to explain his dream and his theory. His theory was that he must have physically made the sword while he was dreaming. And the gong must've made him jump and cut himself, as he was bleeding. "Try it out", his father commanded. Flynt obeyed, and he found that the sword was perfct for him. His father tried it and it was akward. The sword was suited to Flynt only. Black Fire became the sword's name. Flynt kept Black Fire close and prospered.
