Empty

Empty…

I've never felt…

So empty before.

Axel lay on his bed, staring at his ceiling with his hands behind his head. Memories of Roxas ran through his mind. He tried to reach out and grab one, just to treasure it, if only for a moment. But every image slipped from his grip and flew tauntingly away. One memory, though, that stayed in his brain, pounding its way into permanent existence.

"No, Axel. I have to leave. I have to know." Roxas had said, his back to Axel..

"Will you be back?" Axel asked.

"I… I don't know." The blonde replied regretfully.

"But why?! Why do you have to leave?!" Axel pleaded, still trying to talk him out of it.

"It won't be so bad… no one would miss me." Roxas said coldly, now numb to Axel's words.

"That's not true…" Axel murmured, his strength draining from him.

"Good bye, Axel." Roxas whispered.

And with that, Roxas had left, taking Axel's heart with him.

I'd miss you, Roxas.

I'd miss you forever.
