Author's note - This whole little Henry and Mommy Regina theme seems to be planted into my head at this point. This was inspired by a head canon post on tumblr.

Regina sat at her desk, head in hands; she had more paperwork to finish than she cared to remember. Thoughts interrupted, she leaned to look under her desk, where a rhythmic tapping against her leg caught her attention.

Henry had made himself comfortable, sprawling under the regal marble desk with crayons in every direction. His little bare foot was tapping against her calf, toes dancing to an unheard melody.

"Henry, what happened to your desk?"

"I wanted to help you!"

Regina pushed her chair back and knelt on the ground. "You wanted to help me? Why?"

"I wanna go to the park, so I thought I'd colour some pictures and help cuz you work too much Momma." He stuck his tongue out in concentration, colouring away at a picture of the park, while blindly handing a stack of drawings back to his mother.

Regina chuckled and glanced to the door. Upon seeing no motion, she, too, sprawled on the floor, lying on her stomach before starting to examine the stack of drawings.

Henry wasted no time, and clambered onto Regina's back, resting his little head on her shoulder.

"That's your office, Momma! And dis is our house! See! I drew your tree! And me! And you! Plus look – I drew your purple dress. Dat's my favourite cuz you look like a queen and you're my favouritest Momma so you're the Queen because I said so."

Regina smiled at his lighthearted rambling, leaning her head to rest against his.

"That's lovely, Henry! Oh! Tell me about this one!"

"Dat's the Diner, Momma." He gasped. "Momma! Can we go see Granny today? Please please please?"

Regina chuckled. "I thought you said you wanted to go to the park?"

"Oh. Weeeeeeeeell I decided to go see Granny instead. Plus I drew this for her!" He hastily pulled a drawing from the middle of the stack. It was a drawing of the three of them, Granny wrapping them in a hug.

"She'll love it, my little Henry. Should we go see her right now?" Henry fell off of her back in his haste to pick up his crayons. She laughed at his antics. "Let me grab a few papers for later while you work on cleaning up?"

A few minutes later, they were both packed up and Henry ran over to his mother, hands up. "Momma, will you carry me?"

She knelt, hand to her forehead and a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. "Oh my little Henry. I'm feeling so tired – I don't know that I ca- " Henry flew into her arms and covered her face in kisses.

"There you go Momma! All full of energy, right?"

She laughed and pulled him into a hug. "Of course. Now what do you say to a visit to our Granny?"

His grin threatened to split his face. "Yes yes YES! Momma let's go!"

May or may not have drawn this from my own memories with my little siblings. *shrugs*
