It was your average day in the cul-de-sac, everyone was doing what they normally do. Kevin was flirting with Nazz(even though he'd never admit it), Rolf was doing chores, Jonny was talking to Plank, Sarah and Jimmy were playing, and of course the Ed's were trying to think of a scam for the day...
"Eddy, I really don't think this is going to work." Edd cautiously stated, Ed nodded his head in agreement. "Would ya shut up Double D? Trust me this scam is pure gold!" Eddy said in a "matter-of-fact" tone. Edd rolled his eyes and looked away, "That's what you always say. Besides, who would be dumb enough to actually think anyone would buy an empty cardboard box?"
Eddy spoke up, "But it's a "magical" cardboard box." This was Ed's cue to apparently cut in, "Gimme! I want a magical cardboard box!" Edd slapped his forehead, "Ed, there's nothing magical about it!" Eddy snickered, "See Double D, the kids love "magical" stuff."
Edd looked away and saw a little bit further down the block, a moving truck was in front of a house, "Eddy...look." Eddy looked in the same direction, "A new kid? Hmm...I say we go give her a warm welcome." Edd smiled, "That's the spirit Eddy!" "And we can try to sell her the "magical" and "mysterious" box."
"Oh so now you changed it to "magical" and "mysterious" box? And what are you thinking!? She's probably scared enough, that she's in a new neighborhood and we don't need to make it worse for her! When I moved here I was so scared and nervous. I say we give her a warm welcome, I'm sure she'd gladly appreciate it."
Eddy sighed, "Fine. No scamming. But, tomorrow is a whole new day."

Okay, so this is my first Ed, Edd n Eddy fic....and hopefully it wasn't to dumb for you. This will be an OC fic but not like all your other "the new girl falls in love with Double D" fics. None of that.
