Micah sat on the couch opposite to Lloyd's, turning the cross around his neck over and over. He was wearing the shirt he had on when had first met Lloyd, 'Let's get one thing straight- I'm not.' His legs were stretched out in front of him, underneath the small coffee table that was the only thing between them.
Lloyd had his legs pulled up against his chest, his green hoodie covering his hands as he hugged his knees. His blond hair flopped over his eyes making it difficult to tell whether he was looking at the floor or at Micah.
"So, Greenie, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"
Lloyd's head shot up and he shoved his hair out of the way, red tinting his cheeks. "Just because I like the color green doesn't mean you can tease me about it, Flower Boy."
Micah only laughed at him.
"I'm serious, Micah!" He exclaimed, although a smile was tugging at his lips.
"I'm sure you are," he said getting up and going around the table to join Lloyd. "Greenie."
Lloyd sputtered and smacked his arm. "Micah!"
"What, all I'm saying is you seem to have an obsession with the color green." He smirked and looked into Lloyd's eyes. "And would you look at that, my eyes are green."
He turned an even deeper shade of red and shoved Micah's face away, causing him to fall onto his back. "I'll have you know I liked the color green long before I ever met you."
"Sure," he said, dragging it out. "But I bet you like it even more now that you've met me."
"You're an idiot, Flower Boy." Lloyd turned away.
"Just because I help my mom in her flower shop doesn't mean you can tease me about it." Micah said, teasingly mocking Lloyd. He laughed before continuing. "Anyway, are you going to tell me why you called me here?"
"Oh, I got you a birthday present." Lloyd started fidgeting with a thread on the couch.
"This early? My birthday's tomorrow, Lloyd." The confusion on his face was clear.
Swallowing nervously, Lloyd spun around a pressed a kiss to his lips. After a second he pulled away and offered a crooked half-smile. "Happy birthday, Micah."
Hi there I'm back again and would you look at that I wrote a story without having a sad Lloyd. Also this is another creative writing assignment and I need help because I'm turning in this fluffy piece. :D
