"You can't go all the way to Vancouver on your own, Alex." Justin said, glaring at his inquistive sister. "Plus what if Gorog comes back, huh?"
"Justin, Gorog is dead. Leave me alone about it. " Alex said.
Alex went to her car, it had a nice cobalt color to it.

Alex went to Mason's apartment to talk to him about going with her to Vancouver, but when she opened the door, she saw him kissing another girl.
Mason looked at Alex and tried to mouth a quiet apology to her, his eyes looking forgiving, but Alex didn't believe him.
"And to think I was gonna ask you to come with me to Vancouver." Alex said. "I'm going on my own." She said.
"ALEX! Wait!" Mason went after her. "You can't just leave your family and friends behind."
"i have a friend in Vancouver. " She lied, she had found something in the wizard textbooks about a special ruby that was only in Vancouver that a wizard possessed that could grant your powers back.
"Alex, I know what you're after. Wizards have gone missing in the proccess of finding that ruby. " Mason said.
"its my business, Mason. Its not like you want to be with me, I saw you kiss her!"Alex said, tears welling in her eyes.
"Fine. We're done." Mason said, "I was gonna tell you but this happened. Look, I support you. Friends?"
"Fine. " Alex said, "Just so I can have someone in my life that's a good friend of mine. " She sniffled, wiping her brown eyes of the tears.
"I won't tell your parents. Its better off they don't know. " Mason said.
Alex grabbed her keys to the blue car, it had been given to her when she'd turned 19, even after losing the wizard competition to Justin. She needed to leave New York. Start over.
She got in, she had her stuff in there, ready to head to the airport to begin a new life in Vancouver. Just maybe she'd find someone like Mason. Just maybe.
