Usagi glanced in the windows of the bakery. Her eyes fell upon the sweet cakes in the window. Her eyes widened, and she heard her stomach growl. She reached into her pocket for some change. Usagi's hand met a few quarters, and some dollar bills. She rushed into the bakery carelessly. As she ran in, she bumped into her friend, Ami-Chan. "Huh?" Ami said as she turned around. "Oh, konichiwa, Ami-Chan!" Usagi said cheerfully. "Oh, Usagi, what are you doing he- never mind. That's such an obvious question!" "AMI!" "Sorry! Anyways, did you hear about the new store that's opening across the street? The new mall rather?" "Oh, uh, yeah! They're supposed to have the best bakery in the country!" "Yes, I know!" "And, uh, Ami," "Yes, Usagi?" "Could you get out of my way?" "SERENA!" "Sorry…" And with that, she made her way to the counter.
Meanwhile, in Crystal Tokyo… "Chibiusa!" "Huh?" "Chibiusa! Your mother and father have been captured!" said Setsuna, as she rushed into the room. "WHAT?" "They have been captured by the Dark Lord, along with the Shadow Warriors. They obviously were growing stronger, and decided to attack our people once again." "Why do they want US?! Can't they go to some other galaxy?" "Chibiusa, there's so much more- and so little time to explain!" Setsuna explained, as a pillar in Chibiusa's room came crashing down. "Chibiusa! Come with me!" Setsuna got up and took Chibiusa's hand. They rushed out of the room, through the Grand Hallway, through the study, and up the Main Tower. "Chibiusa, take this." Setsuna said, after they reached the top. She handed Chibiusa a silver key. "Huh?" Chibiusa said with a questioned look on her face. "Use it to transport to 1000 years in the future." "I don't want to do this again! I wanna stay here, with you, instead of going to find Usagi!" "Listen, Chibiusa," said Setsuna, as she knelt down beside her, "This isn't just for your parents, it's for the whole kingdom. The fate of it rests upon your shoulders. Go, and we still have hope. Stay, and well, let's just say it wouldn't be the best decision." "Ooohh……. Well then, gimme the key." Setsuna handed the key to Chibiusa, and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Be careful Chibiusa." "Don't worry, I will. Guardian of Time! Split the heavenly sky and open the door of time! I call upon you, the almighty God of time, Chronos! Lead and protect… Onward to the road of light!" And with that, Chibiusa was gone.
