AN: This is just shameless drabble/fluff. To be honest, this probably should have been a Draco/Astoria fic, but... I've always wanted to try to write a Draco/Cho story! This is the best I could come up with. I apologize for the lack of a plotline. Please review! It would greatly encourage me to possibly explore this pairing again in the future.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters in the Harry Potter series. This is purely a work of fanfiction. JK Rowling gets all the credit for source material.
The two of them were a tangled mess of blankets and bare skin. It was a rainy Saturday, and both of them had slept in.
"If it's a boy, I want him to be as tall as you."
"Oh, really? And if it's a girl?"
"Girls can be short. You fancied a pretty short one, yourself…"
As it was approaching noontime, the rain eventually ceased. But their conversation had not.
"And let's hope he or she doesn't inherit your pointy face," she said, sticking her tongue out at him. He mock-scowled as she buried her face in his chest.
"There's nothing wrong with this face. It's a Malfoy trait. Very aristocratic," he said in a drawl that was such an accurate impression of his schoolboy days that Cho couldn't help but laugh. She slapped his arm playfully. He retaliated by pulling the covers over the two of them, enshrouding them in nothing but darkness and touching and laughter.
"And what did she say?"
"She's not sure about a boy's name, but she seemed rather bent on 'Mei' if it's a girl," Cho said, looking up at her husband's face. "That was almost my name, actually."
"But you think it's a boy?" Draco asked, rubbing her stomach gently. Cho nodded and put her hands over his own, the two of them tracing make-believe patterns over her body. "And if that's the case, what'll we do then?"
"Oh, I know that your mum has quite a few names in mind. She's shown me your family tree a million times ever since we announced I was pregnant. I suppose she mentioned a few yesterday afternoon?"
Draco didn't say anything at first. That had been exactly the purpose of his mother's impromptu visit. "She's… Yeah, she's suggested some names. But I didn't like many…"
"Me neither," Cho groaned. "Constellations and flowers… I understand that it sounds rather noble and all, but Orion? Walburga?"
He didn't say anything at first, then: "… But you got used to a Draco, didn't you?"
Cho lightly kissed him on the lips then turned on her side. After a few more moments, when he sensed that she was just about to drift off, he ventured to mention what he had been waiting to ask all along.
"Cho?"
"…"
"What do you think of the name Scorpius?"
