The Rosabis Brotherhood By: The man of action
Prologue
The escape of Rash Rosabis
The steel walls of the brotherhood vault would no longer keep me confined to this grave. I ran down the hall then slammed my hand down on a steal door. My hand fell into the access pad, and then the door opened into three pieces. The three pieces slid into the walls and the ceiling. I watched as the steel doors opened and six brotherhood nights appeared with weapons in hand. The men had their heads lowered to the floor, and while I looked at them sweat and blood washed over me. I felt the sweat and blood running down my face and onto my chin. One drop of blood fell to the floor, than as if they had been awoken from many years rest their eyes came up to my level. The six men looked me in the eye's than started to lift their weapons. I watched as my luck unfolded and the time bombs I had set up went off shaking the entire vault.
My entire body shook, but I knew I needed to move fast before they gathered their wits. I grabbed the .357 revolver on my side, than I ran to flank left. While I was running, one of the brotherhood nights on the far left was gathering himself to stop me. When I saw him trying to get up I knew I would have to stop him before he stopped me. I thrust my arm up and placed the revolver directly between his eyes. The man looked up at me with fear in his eyes which I didn't understand because we were trained to be fearless. When I looked into this man's eye's I felt sorrow but I was also trained to have no empathy. This would be the first test of my strength, and I would not fail. I looked into this man's eyes smiled than killed him with one round threw his head. The man's body fell back onto the floor with blood pouring out the back of his head.
When the man hit the floor I ran toward the door and up the steel stairs. But when I got to the top of the stairs one of the brotherhood assassins stopped me. The warrior who stopped me was unarmed, but it was easy to tell that he knew how to handle himself with nothing but his fists. I was ready for this test of hand to hand combat. I ran forward up the first three steps than jumped from the right than to the left; then dropped my left foot down on him. The assassin blocked my kick and sent me rolling down the stairs. I ran up the stairs, but this time I rolled between his legs. I jumped to my feet turned than sent a fist into the right side of his face. The man's entire body turned so I sent my right fist into his face, than I put him in a choke hold. The man jabbed my left side, than I lifted my left arm and placed him on the back of his head while he jabbed my left side. This would be my final attack so I made sure that this would be his final breath by snapping his neck. I looked over the assassins shoulder, than five nights ran stepping up to the challenge. The man looked at me than lifted their weapons ready to fight. I knew I would be killed if I tried merely fighting them so I pulled the pin on one of his grenades. When the man aimed at me I kicked the assassin down the stairs and watched as they all died. I looked at their dead bodies with a sickening smile on my face, than as if in tranquility I turned to face the door. I pressed my palm down on the last access panel than the door slid open.
Chapter one
The Outlaw and the Ranger
Nafriel Stone
I have spent many hours thinking and pondering what I would do if he were to die. I heard a loud metallic banging, than woke from my sleep suddenly. My entire body spun, than I sat up in my bed looking into the eyes of three brotherhood guards. My eyes focused in on theirs, than the middle man stepped forward. "By order of the mighty Cyrillus you are under order to go to the master's temple." I got to my feet than put a shirt on and grabbed a sword. I stepped out into the hallway were seven more brotherhood guards were there waiting to escort me to the masters temple. The man escorted me down the halls until we made it to a eight foot wide ten foot tall metal door. When I got to it all of us where forced to be identified warriors of the brotherhood. When the door opened we all walked in than the guards spread out around the circular masters chamber. "Great master we have brought her to you she is ready now." The master elder turned to me than looked at me as I knelt down on one knee. "So you are Nafriel stone are you not." The elder asked lowering his head into his palms. "Yes master elder. I am Nafriel stone." The elder looked up without moving his head. "Well than I have a mission for you but you will not be sent alone. Are you interested?" The elder master asked looking deep into my eyes. "How may I serve the mighty brotherhood?" The elder master looked into my eyes with a smile. "You are going to be sent on a mission to find Rash Rosabis." I was glad that Rash was right about what would happen next. "Alright you are excused from my presence." Then I got to my feet but made sure my head stayed down so I did not see the master elder. When I got to the door I wanted to look back at the master but knew that I couldn't or I would be killed. The old bronze door opened and I stepped out. When I stepped out I went to look back, than I felt a heavy blow hit my head. The blow sent me sprawling to the ground. When I tried looking up from the floor I saw the back of a gun coming straight toward me. I felt blood coming down the side of my face and my eyes were going blurry. I felt as if I were fading into a deep sleep than my head fell to the floor.
"Nafriel get up." I could hear the voice of what I thought was a guard. I opened my eyes and looked up at a group of three fully armed
brotherhood assassins. "Nafriel get up we're leaving whenever you're ready."
I got up and put on a suit made up of overlapping sheet metal and Kevlar armor. When I had my armor on I grabbed two hidden blades, a silver sword, two twenty two pistols throwing knives. That was the last of my bladed weapons but I brought a suppressed colt commando with a four op scope. I walked with the brotherhood assassins until we got to the final door. When I got to it I placed my hand on the access pad and the door opened sending the raise of light into our eyes. The rays of light were too bright for us though so we were forced to put on our helmets. The helmets we were given were maid with bullet and sound proof glass lenses, and overlapping Kevlar armor. We all stepped out into the sunlight and I knew that this would be the last time I would see my old home.

Rash Rosabis
The sand swept through my fingers as I swept my hand over the desert floor. When I got to my feet I stretched my arms toward the air, than I went to the cliff side and grabbed my armor. I suited up and settled into the cliff side so that I could formulate a hidden blade. What I would need for this is a stiletto, a piece of metal wiring, a metal cylinder, a metal gear and a case made up of sheet metal. After about a half hour I had it finished and the sun was started to rise. I got to my feet and strapped in the hidden blade I had just finished crafting. When I got on the road I walked four hours on the side of the old highway before I saw a man and what looked like his wife pushing a shopping cart. While I watched them I was tucked behind a destroyed vehicle, until I spotted a group of men wearing thin suits of metal plating. When I saw these men I jumped to my feet and attacked them. I jumped out and landed on the biggest man's back than stabbed my hidden blade threw his neck. The large corpse dropped and my hidden blade deactivated, than I grabbed my AK-74. The remaining two men tried to take shots at me but I landed a round in both of their chests sending them sprawling across the ground. When I walked over to them I had to make sure they were both dead so I asked the man for his baseball bat. There was complete silence as I turned toward the men on the ground, than with a grin on my face bashed their already bloody faces in. The men were both dead I was sure of that because their bloody skulls were spread across the road. I searched through their equipment and found a bag filled with N.A.A money so I took it. There was nothing of any value other than their two riot shotguns ammo and water so I took all of it.
I looked back at the woman and the old man than handed them ten shells, and a riot shotgun. "I'm sorry that you had to see that but there was no other to save you." The young woman looked up at me with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. "Thank you so much you are such a kind man that you helped an old man a young woman and her child." Then like being hit by a bolder I noticed a baby hidden in the old shopping cart they were pushing. I smiled at the woman than took the sleeve off of my cloak and split it down the middle. I took the sleeve and wrapped it around the baby. The woman was so happy that she just picked up the baby and hugged her elderly grandfather. I looked at the woman and gave her a bottle of water. "Thank you so much is there anything I can give you." I thought about it but I knew that wouldn't need anything. "No mam I don't believe I do so I guess I'll be on my way." The woman looked up at me than asked me who I was and where I was from. I looked up at the woman and said with a grin. "I am Rash Rosabis Assassin of the Rosabis brotherhood." I took three steps down the road and the woman looked back at me and said that she would tell everyone she crossed of my sacrifice. While I walked I scanned the old riot shotgun and found the spartan army insignia. I walked for another three hour than as it was nearing nightfall I saw an old town that was controlled by the N.A.A.
While I slowly walked up toward the town I saw a young man wearing some sort of desert fatigue uniform. I walked up to the city wall and the young boy commanded that I stayed still. When I stopped the young boy told me to drop my weapons so I threw my cloak to the ground. This only made the boy more afraid because now he could see all of my hidden weapons. The boy lifted his M-16 rifle and tried to attack but I tuck and rolled than got to my feet right in front of the boy. I jumped up and put my hidden blade to the boy's throat. "Move and I'll slit your skinny little throat." The boy didn't move just as I had asked. "Put the gun nice and easy." Why was the man so scared of me? Was it because he thought I was one of those Spartan army soldiers. This was going to be the most brutal time of my young life by the looks of it. The man lowered his gun to the ground as I backed off then I walked back to grab my weapons. "Aim that gun at me again and I'll blow your brains out." I put on the old gray cloak then grabbed my AK-74 off the ground. I walked toward the boy and he began to raise his rifle but stopped in his tracks. "How did you do that? You moved faster than anyone that I've ever seen." I looked at the boy while I checked my grenades then replied relieved that I didn't have to kill the boy. "I spent my entire life training with the brotherhood. I'm not with them anymore though." The boy looked at me then went to his snipers nest. The boy came back moments later with a pass port for any N.A.A controlled space. "This pass, gives you entrance to any N.A.A space and allows you to get work from us." I looked at the card and signed my name on the passport. "Thank you this will do me much good, but you wouldn't happen to have any advice about where to go next would you." "Your best option is to go pawn everything that you don't need buy some water from the bar, then go to the sheriff's office and ask if he needs anyone to work on patrol." "Thank for all of your help. Until we meet again." I said bowing with an open hand over on top of a closed fist. "Yeah see you later good luck."
After I was finished talking to the man I walked to a pawn shop in town like the patrol said to do. I walked in and sold the man three stiletto knives and in turn he gave me fifty N.A.A coins. When I left I went to the bar just like the patrol had said to do, but when I got there I felt a little on edge. The floors would creek every step I took and about thirty desperate killers watched as I took each step closer to the wooden bar. The bar was old and cut up but I sat down on one of the old stools anyway. The bar tender looked at me then asked me if I needed anything. I stared at the table and told the bar tender that all I would need was water. The bar tender looked at me than said to but something on the table first. I set thirty coins on the bar, then the bar tender left taking the coins with him. While I sat waiting a man sat down next to me then slammed an old combat knife into the bar. "What do you think you're doing here stranger." I sat silent looking at the counter top then the man smacked me upside the head. "You don't want to challenge me. The penalty for that is much steeper then you can afford." "Who do you think you are boy?" After he said that he smacked the back of my head. I spun on the chair grabbing his right arm then putting behind his back slammed his face down on the counter top four times. I stepped back then let the man get up, then the man grabbed his knife and signaled to the rest of his group who were joined by the rest of the bar. Everyone in the bar stood weapons drawn looking at me while walking in circles around me. In a stern voice I decided to quote the bible. "For the lord said vengeance is mine. And yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear..." Then four men all ran toward me swinging blades and table legs. One of the men swung the leg of a stool at me but I caught his attack and sent a hidden blade into the man's stomach. I pulled the hidden blade from the man's stomach and let his limp body drop to the floor. The man from the bar pulled a twelve gauge sawed off shotgun. Kicking the shotgun from the mans hand into the air Rash reached out grabbing the shotgun with his right hand, and the mans throat with his left. Turning his body to the right Rash pointed the gun at the man next to him. Pulling the trigger, Rash through the man from the bar onto the floor. Turning, and slamming the shotgun into another mans head behind him, Rash bashed in the mans head. Dropping the shotgun, Rash turned to the right while at the same time backing up to dodge a machete that hit the floor. Drop kicking the man in the chest, Rash sent the man with the machete across the room, and threw a table. Kicking the machete into out of the floor, and into his hand Rash held out the machete. Machete in hand, Rash stood on a draw with the man in front of him, who was holding a bat with nails threw it out. The man ran at Rash swinging the the bat, but Rash knocked the bat away, then without a second thought Rash decapitated the man. Four men began surrounded Rash, with rifles drawn. Rash dropped the Machete. With a few quick movement Rash pulled his .357 revolver, shooting the two in front of him. Dropping to the floor a bullet flew over his face dropping iron to the man back, right of him in the four head. Hitting the floor Rash sat up, aiming down the sights toward a little Asian girl. The girl was Asian, five foot four, and looked frail. The girl was holding a .22 pistol at her hip. The .22 pistol pointed directly toward Rash's face finger on the trigger steaming, from the two rounds that had killed the men behind him. Lowering the gun to the ground Rash began standing up. Standing tall in the duster with shoulders of steal, Rash put the .357 revolver in the holster. The girl pointed the gun at Rash, flipping the machete into his hand Rash opened his duster, and put it in his belt. The girl lowered the gun, The Kevlar body armor had obviously shown her that the pistol she had wouldn't be enough. "If you want to shoot me I'd think that desert eagle should do the trick." Grabbing the holsted desert eagle, Rash reached for the machete. Bang! Bang! With a motion faster than could be seen Rash deflected two forty five rounds. With the machete in the air pointed toward the girl Rash held it above his head with both hands. With a stunned look on her fave the girl looked at Rash. "My name is Jin Kasuma, I'm guns expert." Rash put the machete back in his belt, and took off his helmet. "My name is Rash Rosabis, assassin in training for The Brotherhood." Jin looked at Rash with wide eyes, the girl didn't expect to see a boy without a scar on his face. "Your flawless, you don't have a scratch on you." Looking at the girl, Rash thought that she was quite frankly untouched as well. "Your looking good yourself. So where are you headed?" Jin looked at Rash thinking that he may be a threat, but he didn't look like the kind of person to be trying to get some ass. "I can't leave town, its too dangerous for a little girl like me to travel alone."
"You can travel with me if you'd like." The girl pondered it for a second then responded. "I'll go with you but just to worn you, if you try to touch me I'll kill you." Rash looked at the girl, then laughed uncontrollably. "I'm sorry Jin, but I would never lay a hand on you. I'm still in love with my girl." Jin came up to Rash and kissed his cheek, then whispered in his ear 'I don't see her!' Looking at her lips he grabbed her jaw and pulled her close, making it look like he was about to kiss her he pushed her away and said. "Don't try anything little girl because she's coming and I'm waiting for her." Jin looked down at the floor solemnly, then with a look of sadness she looked up at him with a look of regret in her eye's. Giving her a kiss on tt he forehead brushing his hand across her cheek.
Walking out into the streets Rash could see a fire up ahead and three men running up toward it. Smoke was rising from over a hill in the valley below the town. Rash began running as fast as possible toward the smoke, but it would be to late by the time he got there. A man was standing on top of the hill, gun in hand, the man turned toward the other two men with his hand on a throwing knife that was piercing his sternum. Blood was running from his chest, and the man dropped his weapon falling into the sand. Rash ran to the mans side rolling him onto his back, searching the man for a second for any ammo. Pulling a pistol from a pocket in the mans coat. Rash jumped to his feet grabbing the dead mans rifle. "Hey what are you doing." Rash looked back at the people then checked the guns for ammo but there was only thirty rounds total. "There's people in that valley and I'm going to kill them all." The people looked at him with cold expressions.
Running over the hill Rash jumped sliding down the hill while rounds landed all around him. Lifting the rifle he shot at the back three landing five rounds in each of them they dropped dead in the sand. Hitting a rock in the sand, Rash kicked himself into the air. Landing in front of one of the remaining seven men. Rash knocked the man to the ground with the back of the of the dead mans gun, putting one round in the mans forehead immediately after. Turning to the others he unloaded the remaining twelve rounds. Four men dropped to the ground dropping their weapons in the sand. Turning to the right Rash knocked a throwing knife away from hitting him. Dropping the dead mans rifle to the ground, Rash pulled The dead mans pistol shooting the man with the throwing knives in the chest sending him bloodied to the ground. Dropping the emptied pistol. Rash knew he wouldn't have time to grab either one of the pistols at his side, he was going to die! Psst! Psst! blood came from the sides of both of the mans heads as they dropped to the desert floor. With ten bloody corpses spread across the desert floor, Rash searched the bodies for anything he could gather on these attackers. To his displeasure he found nothing but food guns and some sort of metal insignia.
An elderly man walked toward him crouching at his side. "You've found Spartan Army money." Turning to the old man Rash showed him what he had found. "What did you say this was?" The old man looked at him with a look of joy on his face, surprised at something Rash had said the man answered. "Those coins you've got there are Spartan army money boy, those coins are worth quite a bit in the wastes." Rash looked at the coins recognizing the fact that he had mistaken the coins as some sort of insignia. "Elder do you know anything about the Spartan Army?" The elderly man thought for a moment but couldn't think of anything important. "No, I don't think so my boy." Rash stared intently at the coins in his hand pondering were he'd seen this symbol that he would think it to be an insignia. Grabbing the twelve gague riot shotgun Rash searched the butt of the gun, wiping some dirt off what he recognized to be the insignia things became clear that
