It was that time of the year again. Christmas. But it wouldn't be jolly and happy. It was her first Christmas without Wally. Everyone had been trying to keep Artemis company, but it wasn't the same. To be honest, she would of rather been alone, then have Megan and Zee smothering her all the time. Plus everything they were doing was getting on her nerves and she couldn't hold in her anger anymore.
"For gods sake Megan, Zatanna stop smothering me! Just leave me alone!" Artemis yelled, running off. "I'm guessing she doesn't like the silver tinsel then" Zatanna said.
She felt overwhelmed, she needed to cool down. "Maybe some music might take my mid off things" Artemis grumbled to herself. Big mistake. On the radio was the song Lonely This Christmas. Great.
'Try to imagine a house that's not a home, try to imagine a Christmas all alone, that's where I'll be since you left me, my tears could melt the snow. What can I do without you? I've got no place, no place to go, It'll be lonely this Christmas, without you to hold. It'll be lonely this Christmas , lonely and cold'.
"Of course it will" Artemis whispered with teary eyes.
