Somebody to Imprint On **Seth's Story**

Chapter 1

I'm not gonna lie, it sucks seeing everyone else imprint before me. Practically the entire pack is whipped now, and all I can do is sit pretty and watch them while they run off with their "true loves". These thoughs went through my head as I meandered toward the res after meeting with the rest of the wolf pack. Now it's my turn. I"m gonna be next, I can feel it. Unlike Jake, however, I'm not gonna try to force it to happen. Why would he even think for a second that he would have the slightest chance of success with that? I chuckled. What a dunce.

"I heard that," Jake said, making me jump out of my skin.

"Dude! You scared the crap out of me," I complained, irritation in my voice.

"That's my specialty."

"Wow. You really are a dunce."

"Whatever. At least it's not taking me forever to imprint on someone," Jake challenged.

"You know, you're right. 'Cause I would much rather imprint on a baby," I shot back.

Jacob growled. I must have given myself away, because the next words out of Jake's mouth were "What are you really trying to say, Seth?"

"I know what's going on, Jake. I know what you did. Or didn't do, rather."

"Oh? And what's that?"

"You didn't imprint on Renesmee," I charged. That silenced him, because he knew I was right. "You only made them think you did to make Bella jealous! But why, Jake? Why would you do that to her? To the Cullens? It's not like-" Suddenly, it was all coming together. The puzzle pieces fit perfectly. Only, it seemed too impossible to be true. "Jake...? You didn't...you couldn't have...on Bella?" I struggled to form complete sentences with my words.

"If you tell anyone, and I mean anyone, you die," he snarled.

"But Jake you said-" he was already gone, most likely in wolf form. I continued the walk home, drained.
