Sam was lying on the ground. Her blood was flowing from her wound. She watched as Danny gave the final blow to Vlad, and he fell to the ground unconscious. The police took him away to be put in jail.
"SAM!" yelled Danny. He flew to her side and changed back to his human form. "Oh, Sam... I'm so sorry. This shouldn't have happened.
"It's not your fault, Danny," she whispered, "you would have done the same for me."
"And it should have been me," he said, "I can't lose you."
"Danny, please... be strong, for both of us. I don't have much longer..."
"NO!" Danny shouted. Tears poured down his cheeks. He held Sam, and she rested her head on his arm, and she smiled.
"I'm so happy you're here, Danny. I wouldn't want anyone else by my side."
Danny wanted to smile back, but he couldn't. She would die, and he knew it, but he didn't want it to be so soon. "I love you so much, Sam. I can't do anything without you. Please... don't go..."
"I love you too, Danny, and I will always be with you. I'll never forget you..."
"No, Sam, NO!" he screamed, but her eyes were already closing. Her head fell against hes chest, and her body went cold. Sam was gone...
Danny cried and rested his head against hers. He hugged her for what seemed like hours, but then the sirens came and an ambulance came into the clearing. More tears rolled down his cheeks, and he kissed Sam's forehead. "Goodbye my love," he whispered. Goodbye... said another voice. Then the paramedics took Sam's body, and Danny walked away.
Ten years later, Danny Fenton walked down to a cemetery. He came here every day, but this day was different. It was the day Samantha Manson was murdered.
Danny walked up to her gravestone. "Hi, Sam," he said, "I'm here, as usual. I even skipped work today." He then laid a black rose, her favorite flower, on her grave. "I know that you'd want me to go home and try to enjoy my day off, but you know I can't. I'll be here all day, so if there's anything you need, just say so.
He stood in silence for a few minuted, then he got on his knees and bowed his head. A tear fell to the ground. He suddenly felt a kiss on his forehead. Iloveyou,Danny.
