In the middle of the night, sleeping on her owner's bed was a faerie Jubjub, named Greenspark. He was laying at the end of the bed, his owner, Mia, was asleep, but only a soft sleep.

At about 11:00 at night, there was a knock on the door. Mia woke up, and looked at her alarm clock. With a sigh, and making sure not to wake Greenspark, she walked to the door.

Greenspark woke up once Mia left the room, for she usually woke up now to get a drink. She sat up, and looked over to where Mia slept. She did not see here there, so she got up and gently flew to the hallway in front of the front door, close enough to listen, but able to not be seen.

Mia was holding the door knob tightly and standing to the side of the door, so the creature at the front door could be seen by Greenspark. The two creatures were a robot Zafara and a robot Techo.

With a trembling voice, Mia whispered, "What are you doing here?" She stood in front of the door more now, knowing what they were probably here for, and she did not want them to get it.

The robot Zafara started. "The master wants all the pets." He said in a voice that was so flat it was hardly able to be a neopets.

Mia squinted her eyes at them. "There is no master in this land. No one rules Neopia. Well Queen Flora does, but she would never do that." Her voice was still trembling, but now she was also confused.

Butting in was the robot Techo now. "No, Jhudora is the master. She wants all the pets."

Mia shook her head, getting braver. "No, we had a deal. I give her money, and I don't help out her sisters with quests. You have no right to take my pets, that was the deal!" she nearly screamed, but remembered the time and that she thought Greenspark was asleep.

The robot Zafara just looked at Mia. "That deal just ran out." And with that he pushed Mia to the side and stood in front of her so she could not run.

With a robotic sound there was an extra part coming out of the robot Techo's eye, searching the room in a sweeping motion. He looked at the wall where Greenspark was hiding behind and stopped moving. Then the part that had searched the room, the eye piece, was gone as soon as it came.
Mia figured out what the robot Techo was looking at, and let out a cry. "No! We had a deal!" she called out, and tried to push away the robot Zafara, but he was too strong.

Without a sound, the robot Techo bolted forward with only a streak to show that where he went to. He turned his head slowly to look around the corner, and found Greenspark. He jutted his hand forward, so fast that no one could get away from him.

Greenspark gasped and tried to fly away, but the robot Techo's grasp was too strong for him to get out of it. He let out a yelp of pain as his robotic grasp tightened until it was almost breaking off the circulation to his hand.

The robot Techo picked Greenspark off the ground without any effort, and then bolted back to the robot Zafara and then ran out the door to the truck.

With that, the robot Zafara stepped back and let Mia walk out. "Good job." He said in the same flat tone and then bolted out to the car, just as fast as the robot Techo.

The robot Techo threw Greenspark into the dark, windowless trunk of the truck. The doors slammed shut just as he hit the floor. Greenspark found the corner, in complete darkness, and curled up into a ball, and wrapped his wings around himself. He was away from Mia, and he could even die.
