HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAITY!

I wish I could have done something better, but This was a last-minute-hourbeforework- Kind of thing...Riiight~

Anyways, it's Cute & Simple & Maxon x America! 8D

Enjoy~

A crisp gust of wind scurried its way through the open balcony doors to America's Selection chosen bedroom as she bustled around, collecting her few belongings the reminded her of the life she once lived. The life of a five.

But that was no more. America was a one now, and she couldn't ask for anything better. Although the idea scared her of becoming the queen of such a broken country, she loved her husband more than she feared the position of ruling a country. Maxon was everything and more, and it brought joy to her heart, knowing he had chosen her, out of thirty-five other young ladies, she was the one lucky enough to win the heart of the crowned prince, and now, King of Illéa.

The young red head hummed to herself as she finished putting her belongings into a box that would be taken to her new, shared, royal suit. America knew that now that she was royalty (and rich for that matter) she could have anything she desired, but the few items of her old life held too much sentiment to simply be left behind.

"Couldn't let the maids do their job, could you?" An all too familiar voice sounded out behind the quiet humming of the teenage red head. America smiled before she looked up to see Maxon, leaning on the threshold of the door, grinning at her.

"Couldn't stay in your meeting like you're suppose to?" America teased back. The blonde haired king shook his head, grin staying plastered to his face.

"Ended quicker than expected. I suppose when everyone agrees upon the situation and the action that needs to be taken is what we've been missing at these meetings all along." Maxon unglued himself from the door frame and glided gracefully into the room, stopping next to the piano. He slid his tanned fingers across the keys, creating a simple melody of notes.

"America, play me something?" America nodded, making her way over to the mini grand piano and taking a seat. She placed her fingers on a few of the keys and began a melody that was a mix of several notes that strung together to make a lovely symphony of music.

"This is beautiful." Maxon sat next to his wife, watching as her fingers hovered over the keys, hardly touching them but making them sing out lovely sounds.

"This is a song my father use to play for me when I was a child. He was more of a painter, so when he played piano he tended to make a lot of mistakes but this song was the only one he never messed up." A sad smile had made its way onto the rosy lips of the red head. Maxon nodded, knowing the subject of his wife's father was a touchy one, as it had still been pretty recent since the loss of Mr. Singer.

"Can you teach it to me?" Maxon asked abruptly. America stopped playing and stared at the handsome man sitting next to her.

"I want to teach it to our children some day. Your father was a great man, even if I only knew him for a brief time, I could tell by the way you talked about him, and I want to be like that. I want to be a great father, and king. Please America?" Maxon pleaded his reasoning. A minute passed and with tears glistening in her blue eyes, America nodded.

"I'd be honoured to teach you."

As the evening ticked by, keys were played, some creating the lovely music of an old melody, others creating the sound of tires skidding on pavement. Laughs were shared between the still newly wedded couple as well as tear-filled memories of the family they has lost.

No doubts or regrets sat in the back of the minds of the two young rulers, they both knew just how lucky they had been to meet one another and nothing would break them apart. Things could only bring them together.

Once again, Happy Birthday Kaity! :)

Love You~
