It always baffled the students how Ms. Kinomoto and Ms. Daidouji ended up together. No, it wasn't that they were repelled by it. They were all just genuinely curious.
It was pretty obvious that Mr. Li from the Math department had the hots for Ms. Kinomoto. No one could ignore the many failed attempts at wooing her, and Ms. Kinomoto being the kind soul that she was, always turned down his offers of "more-than-friends-dates" politely. He caved in and accepted their friendship status. It was more than enough for him to spend even a little bit of time with the cheerful woman.
It was also glaringly evident that Mr. Hiiragizawa from the Literature department harbored feelings for Ms. Daidouji. He was very persistent in his courtship, which led to a rather amusing event at the school that no one will probably ever forget. Ms. Daidouji actually snapped at him, complete with verbal lashes and swear words no student should have heard, and no one saw Mr. Hiiragizawa approach her with ulterior motives again.
The students assumed that Ms. Kinomoto and Ms. Daidouji were not looking for a relationship, and wanted to be single for a little while, which is why they turned down any and all advances towards them.
So it naturally came as a big surprise when they saw Ms. Daidouji come out of Ms. Kinomoto's car one Tuesday morning, and seeing the dark-haired woman kiss the brunette right on the lips before dashing off to her office.
In the months that followed, the hype between Ms. Kinomoto and Ms. Daidouji's relationship turned down a notch, and it was dubbed as the norm to see Ms. Daidouji in the bleachers while Ms. Kinomoto was busy coaching the cheerleading squad.
Today, on a lovely Friday afternoon, Ms. Daidouji is again waiting by the bleachers for Ms. Kinomoto. When the students see Ms. Kinomoto light up, they instantly know why. After quickly dismissing the students, they lean back and muse how ordinary and so natural they were with each other.
"Sakura, did you want to eat somewhere with me during lunch?"
"Of course, Tomoyo! Have anything in mind? I'm craving for burgers!~"
Most of the students leave as they see Ms. Daidouji inching closer to Ms. Kinomoto. They knew what was going to happen next; they were going to shamelessly make out.
No matter who it was, they never want to see any of their teachers do that in front of them. After all, they were only middle schoolers.
It was just plain gross (and cute).
