A/N: Just a random short drabble I wrote for Aurora Execution. I had the first two lines in this fic in my Yahoo status and she said it reminded her of Milo and Camus, so here's the result. I haven't written Saint Seiya in a long time, so hopefully this is OK. Anyway, enjoy!
The two young men sat side-by-side at the bar. One smiled entirely too easily, the other barely at all. Both of them were extremely handsome, but they had a sorrowful aura emanating from them that kept any potential suitors at bay. They ordered their drinks-a screwdriver for the tan-skinned, muscular man with the curly hair, vodka and cranberry for his fair-skinned, straight-haired companion, and sipped in silence.
"You scared about tomorrow?", the curly-headed one finally asked, his soft blue eyes reflecting both fear and determination.
His friend sighed and set down his half-finished drink.
"Of course", he said in a low voice. "You'd be a fool not to be, but we're all here to serve Athena. We have to do what we must, even if it means falling for her."
The curly-haired man drew a deep breath before continuing.
"And Hyoga?"
"He made his choice" came the somber reply. "He must now reap the consequences for his actions."
The curly-haired man's glass slammed onto the counter.
"Damn it, Camus!", he snapped. "I know you care about him! Why are you pretending you don't?"
Camus drew another sigh.
"Milo, you should know by now that what I feel doesn't matter. It's all Athena's will. I will do what is necessary for her, no matter what pain it might cause me."
Milo picked up his glass and stared into it. Camus didn't miss the single tear that leaked into the glass before his friend faced him, a smile on his face. The smile did little to warm Milo's eyes.
"I guess you're right...Camus, try not to die tomorrow."
Camus nodded and reclaimed his own glass, pulling a face as he sipped the watered-down concoction.
"The same goes for you, Milo."
The silence fell on them again as neither one said another word. They knew in their hearts that they would perish in their battle tomorrow, though neither was ready to say his goodbyes just yet. They sat in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company and their last night as normal young men.
