I came up with this after reading volume four. I took most lines directly from the manga.
Blood+Baby
Screams of agony could be heard throughout the dark night and only those of hospital room number ADZ knew the truth.
"Damnit Hagi! This is all your fault!" Saya shouted at the worried man standing by her side.
The killing machine known as Saya was in labor.
All my fault! All my fault! Hagi was nearly in tears. "Saya, just remember to breathe." He said, hoping to calm her.
"Yeah, some help you are! You're holding up worse than me, if you can't handle it then leave!"
Hagi, trying even more desperately to hold back his tears, bowed before turning to run out the door. "I'm sorry!"
"I didn't mean literally!" Saya cried after him.
Broken, beaten and scarred, Hagi wandered around the hospital for what felt like an eternity until…
"Hagi!" Kai showed up. "Where's Saya? Aren't you supposed to be with her!"
Hagi looked down at his feet. "I have no right to." He solemnly spoke.
Kai rolled his eyes and brushed past him. "Whatever, I'm going!"
"No!" Hagi grabbed Kai by the arm. "You don't know what your dealing with!" Kai stared in wonder at what Hagi would say next. "All…all I could do was run away from her." Still, hoping for an exciting story, Kai listened further. "She could never forgive me."
"That's it?" Kai asked after a long pause. Hagi nodded. "That's pathetic."
"but there's nothing I can do!"
"Then you shouldn't have knocked her up in the first place!" Kai pointed towards The door to Saya's room that just so happened to be right where they were standing. "Look! You can be an emo later, the two of us are going to get Saya through this!"
The two of them burst through the door. "Saya!"
"What are you two doing here!" Saya gasped. Upon seeing that they just stood there in the doorway, not knowing what to do, she grew even more angry. "Get out of here! Do you want me to kill you!"
Kai slapped her. "That's what you get for being so dumb!"
Kai sounds like a sexist pig…Hagi mused. Saya started to cry.
"There you go crying again!" Kai smiled, thinking he had resolved the issue.
"I'm crying because that hurt, you dick!" Saya grabbed Hagi's sleeve so hard that he fell over.
"I understand." Hagi stood up and faced Kai. "Leave this to Saya and me."
"Even an idiot with the mind of a third-grader like myself knows that's improper grammar!" Kai shouted only to be thrown out of the room by Hagi. "Hey! Saya's my Sis-"
"Saya is my lover." Kai grew quiet at these words as the door swung shut, leaving him alone on the other side.
David found Kai sitting there all alone in the hallway. "What's the matter Kai?" But he just pouted.
Meanwhile back in the room…
The nurse kicked Hagi in the face. "I care about Saya more than you!"
"Diva?" Saya and Hagi both exclaimed at semi-almost-not quite the same time.
"Long time no see, Saya-neesama!" Diva exclaimed.
"How the hell are you my nurse!" Saya demanded. "After this is over I'm gonna kill you and then myself!"
"That's not nice!" Diva complained. "and it's far too overdramatic, I have a nursing license you know."
"And then I'll kill Hagi too for good measure!"
Hagi died a little inside.
"No. Live." Haig said, taking Saya's hand into his own.
And then everything went black.
"Wow, Hagi. I can't believe you passed out." Kai snickered.
Hagi shook his head and stared into the eyes of his newborn daughter. "what should we name her, Hagi?"
"Rose." He answered with a smile.
"Really? I was thinking of naming her after Riku."
