A Sam/Andy fic.
...
Disclaimer: Nope, don't own Rookie Blue. Unfortunately.

A/N: Alright, here's another Sam/Andy fic from me, this time from Luke's perspective.
My reviewers have been so wonderful so far, there's no way I would have been able to write so many fics for this pairing - so soon - if it hadn't been for your encouragement. You're wonderful!
Alrighty, here we go!
I hope you guys like this, I know I'll love writing it.
As always, please read and review, I live for feedback!

There were times - like now - when he really wanted to punch Sam Swarek in the face.
Andy was his girlfriend ... they'd been on two dates already! But no matter what they were doing, no matter how close they got, the second Swarek called her, she just left. If Swarek needed her to do something, she did it. If Swarek came by when they were talking, then Andy would make up an excuse to leave with him, or ask him questions, or smile at him ... It was frustrating.
But, of course, if he made a big deal out of it, then he would end up looking like a jealous tool, and he didn't want that either. I should have fought on Fite Nite ... that would have totally impressed her, and she wouldn't even be thinking of Swarek. I don't get it, I mean, he treated her like crap after she blew his cover, and now she practically worships him! Maybe that's it ... maybe I need to be more 'mean'.
Luke sat at the bar, watching his date playing darts with the man in question.
He had just sauntered in, spotted Andy coming back from the bathroom, and challenged her to a game. She'd had the decency to glance towards him at least once before she agreed. Andy had held up a finger - telling him she'd just play one game, or maybe she'd just be one minute - but that was over ten minutes ago.
Now, Luke sat by himself at the bar, watching the two of them cackling and chuckling, while they were completely oblivious to his disappointment and frustration.
Okay, so maybe tonight hadn't been an 'official' date for them. Counting the night that she'd found him at the Black Penny, this would be their second 'date'. So, maybe he hadn't made his intentions clear ... I should do that, Luke considered. I should march over there and kiss her, right in front of him. That would seal the deal right there.
Andy shouted in triumph, having landed two darts right in the center.
He watched as Swarek shook his head, telling her that it didn't count 'cause she was over some sort of line. Andy scoffed at him, reaching for the darts again. She told him that she was gonna do it again, just to prove that he was wrong, but then Swarek got in front of her, standing between her and the dart board.
Luke watched as Andy grinned, still reaching for the darts, and Swarek just chuckled, thrilling in holding her back from the darts.
Jeeze ... at least they could be discrete about their flirting, he thought bitterly, downing his third glass. When Andy jumped up - trying to sneak past him - and Sam caught her around the middle, tickling her mercilessly, Luke couldn't take it anymore. He threw down his money at the bar, grabbed his jacket, and made his way out of the bar.
He hoped Andy would come to her senses, but the way that she was smiling at Swarek ... it didn't seem likely.
...
The end.
So, what did you think? Like it, hate it?
I know, it was kinda mean to Luke, but ... well, I just don't like him.
Reviews are appreciated, flame if you must, but constructive criticism is much more useful.
Until next time ...!
