Roll was the the champion at video games.

That was a plain fact. Most of everyone couldn't beat her. Some robot masters came close, others didn't even bother trying, Blues could barely figure out how to work the controller, who knows if Forte knew what video games even were, and Rock nearly never won against her nowadays. It didn't matter what the game was or which console it was being held on, she always won. She wasn't the most humble about it either; upon winning she often laughed out loud or gave a snide look while saying something such as 'better luck next time.'

Rock was still willing to go up against the odds. Even though most didn't bother, he always accepted Roll's offer to play a few matches. He sat in front of the screen with his tongue sticking out and his eyes focused as he attempted to achieve his goal; perhaps if he willed himself to win hard enough he would magically get his wish granted. They played over and over again, but every time he came even close to winning Roll would sweep up and become victorious.

He let out a defeated sigh as he slumped back against his chair. He was expecting the usual proud grin to appear on Roll's face, but instead she looked incredibly bored. He rested his chin on his arm as he tilted his head to the side. "What's wrong? Do you wanna play something else?" Slowly, she turned to look at him. He noticed she looked less bored and more distant, as if her mind was wandering through some memory. When she finally focused on him enough, her eyes showed sadness.

"You used to be good at this game." She stated.
"Well, you've just gotten better!" He smiled in attempt to cheer her up. "I can get better again! If I just play more, it's no problem."

She gave a half hearted smile. "Yes, of course. Thanks, Rock, I must just be having a bad day."

Roll missed the days she and Rock would play video games together. Their favorite game used to be a fighting game, and they were near evenly matched. Wasn't that the most fun way to play a game? When both parties were matched, they could go at it for hours and it would never get old. But things began to change. When Rock became Rockman, of course things needed to be different during the war times, but he never returned to just Rock.

So Roll played video games with and without him. Over time, they played less and less, and Roll took notice when match after match she won. It became horribly boring to play the games they usually loved. She sat in front of the screen with her shoulders relaxed and her eyes half lidded. It was like a small routine at this point. A few times Roll would nearly let him win, but the fun in that was lost.

The screen flashed and congratulated her on once again winning. She almost didn't hear Rock voice his concerned, she was too busy thinking back when there was more time for the two twins to spend together. She missed her brother, and wanted him back. It was selfish and greedy, but it was the truth.

"You used to be good at this game."
"Well, you've just gotten better!" That wasn't true. She wasn't getting better, Rock and everyone was just becoming too busy. "I can get better again! If I just play more, it's no problem." It is a problem. Where was he going to get the time to play more?

Though, who was she to bring her brother down. He deserved happiness for all that he's done, and for all the wars that he fought. She was smiling, but the distant look in her eyes remained. "Yes, of course. Thanks, Rock, I must just be having a bad day."

Rock had changed. It was unnoticeable to all except the one closest to him. He couldn't win a fighting game, but could win any fight.

Rock was the champion of war. That was a plain fact.
