notes :: As this is my first attempt at anything halfway decent, I should warn you that it is complete and other bullshit. BUT SURE. It's the story I've been dreaming to write. Teru, I'll pledge my heart to you.
.
When he is young, he dreams of holding on to the hands of the stars,
approaches the light, scantily clad in wonderous promises.
.
.Fractured.
.
When he closes his eyes, the door to his dreams appears before him.
Of course - a terse grin plays on his lips - he should know better than to carry ill-forgotten dreams, and yet otherwise what should his heart even beat for?
He would gather and tentatively hold glass marbles as if they were diamonds.
.
The moonlight dances across the room, lances of light leaping from surface to surface.
-what did I do to deserve this-
It mocks him.
-WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN-
He allows himself a second for self-pity and succumbs to silence.
(Like his tears will rip a giant diorama, ha ha ha.)
.
The streetlights are extinct but no one will snatch his light.
Ephemeral emotions vanish with the wind, and suddenly it resonates as clear as a bell.
He will not allow toxic thoughts to seep through - just because he can no longer dance, does not mean he will let it define him.
Sunlight thrusts through the streets, stretching towards an alternative future.
-you'll shoot for the stars, my Prima Dona-
.
(Oh, but sometimes...)
He'll keep on shining...
