I Do Not Own Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Joss Whedon is amazing for that one responsibility and many more.
Sight Goes Beyond Vision
Xander Harris drove on the highway, not exactly knowing where he's going. He just wanted to find somewhere to go, something to see, away from Sunnydale, away from Hell mouths, and away from death.
Xander clicked on the radio, turning it to classic rock. The trees buzzed past and the road seemed that it would stretch for eons. Xander's gaze shifted to the sky, and he observed the clouds. The clouds looked heavy, and Xander furrowed his brows at them in curiosity. He turned the radio to weather and soon he found out.
"-And it's going to be 50 degrees today and is going to be heavy rain…"
Xander checked the gas and decided it was time for a fill-up. Xander pulled off the road and drove down the Runway, carefully staying behind the bright yellow line. Xander felt calm these days, very subtle. A few weeks ago Sunnydale had been destroyed. He misses that place and wants to go back someday.
Xander stopped at a 7-Eleven, parking his car in the parking lot first. Xander kicked back in his seat. He adjusted his ever-so trusty eye patch and smiled to himself. Its nice to be away from the death and the war and the blood.
But Xander still missed a few things. Like Buffy. And Willow. Faith. Xander sighed. Oh well. Maybe someday he will see his old friends. He got out of his car and shut the door and locked it. Xander took a nice pace up the stair and approached the sliding doors. They opened for him and Xander found himself inside a simple shop, with food and a deli counter. Xander decided to buy a few things. He got a hamburger and some fries for a nice meal on the road. He also picked up some necessities for travel such as a blanket and a pillow. Xander also purchased some cool sunglasses with white trim for no apparent reason, and got some good car snacks. Xander didn't yet know where he wanted to go but he thought it might be a good idea to have a nice pair of shades.
Xander paid for his stuff and was about to exit the store when he got an amazing revelation.
