Grissom had arrived in Vegas without fanfare or even Sara's knowledge.
When she walked into their loft smelling of rotting flesh, he'd taken her into his arms and kissed her. Their clothes were shed quickly. He led her to the shower, washing her with lemons and his own brand of unique attention.
They didn't venture out and kept their own company for the few days he was able to get away from Paris.
When he left and she returned to work, none of their friends asked her about him and she didn't share.
Some things never change.
