What up world. This is another one of my little raps that tell a story. It kinda resembles Mockingbird. Whatever, on with the rap.
Disclaimer: I do not own The Boondocks.
How long has it been since we've moved in this house? (Cry)
Sush baby, don't wake up mommy, be as quiet as a mouse
Please, right now I don't wanna deal with my spouse
I love her, and I know she's your mother
But right now, she don't feel like my significant other
I wish I could make it better, but I can't change people just by sending a letter
I don't push her around like a feather, but I admit, I did sometimes treat her like some random heather
But look at you baby Amy, when I see you, I don't care if my boss doesn't pay me
We'll go on welfare, but I'll still smother you with loving care (Daddy?)
What? (What if you're never there) then I'll wrestle a bear just to see your smooth blonde hair
(But it's not fair) What? (My friends have mommies and daddies that are a loving pair)
Well I guess we're not as lucky, you can say our life is pretty sucky
But it'll be alright, even if our future is out of sight
We have to follow light, but when I step in, it gets dim
Please tell me this isn't hell we're living in
Cause you're still young, a little too young to sin,
(Why is mommy crying?) She just stepped on a pin
(Then why is she so thin?) Don't worry, this isn't her fin
Huh, you remind me of my brother when I was young
When I had a really nasty tongue, but that's then
That was before we turned into men, now I have to rely on this pen
(I haven't seen Uncle Huey in a year) how about we go right now, they live pretty near
Okay wake up Amy we're here, don't worry, there's nothing to fear
What up Huey, can you wipe up Amy's tears?
"Why is she cryin?" maybe it's because I haven't been tryin
"Well maybe you've been lyin, and when you realize it you'll be sighin"
Come on Amy, let's go home and see my pretty little lady.
Hope you all enjoyed that little rap. If you did then review it and tell me.
