Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach.
"Hey, Toushiro, why don't you take a break?"
His peace and quiet interrupted, Toshiro looked up from his paperwork.
"Did you need something, Karin?"
"No. But seriously, how long have you been in here?"
"Well. I arrived at approximately 7:20. And now it's...3:17? Already? So, almost 8 hours."
"Geez, Toushiro. You'd think, being a child prodigy captain guy, you'd know it's more fun to take a break once in awhile."
"What did you have in mind?"
She grinned, and a second later Toushiro had a ball in his hands an inch away from his face.
"Are you trying to kill me, Karin?" He asked dryly.
"No, I'm not." She came forward and grabbed his sleeve, then proceeded to drag him out of his office.
"Karin, stop – I can follow you just fine on my own..."
She let go of his sleeve but continued on. With a shake of his head, he flash-stepped after her.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see."
A few minutes later she stopped. It was an empty field. Well, not entirely empty; there were two pairs of two poles each stuck in the ground a distance away from each other.
"What's all this?"
She dropped the ball – a soccer ball – and kicked it at him. It hit him on the chest and bounced off; he trapped it under his foot.
"That's your goal," she said, pointing to the pair of poles behind her. He realized that was what they were – they didn't have actual soccer goals, so they'd had to make due. "And that one over there is mine. Ready? Start!"
A/N: Sorry guys, not a new chapter. But I edited it and I think it's a little better now.
