He heard a light knock at his door, "Kazuma?"

Recognizing Bishamon's voice, he jumped up and slid off his bed, adjusting his tie as he answered back, "Yes?"

"Would you mind accompanying me to the lower realm in a little while?" Her voice was quiet and he raised an eyebrow curious.

Carefully swinging his door open, he asked, "Sure, but what for?" As she came into view, he noticed she was dressed very casually; wearing a loose fitting purple blouse and a flowing white skirt that stopped just at her knees and her hair pulled back into a ponytail. He was glad he spoke before he caught sight of her, because otherwise the words would have definitely caught in his throat. He'd seen her in nearly everything, including nothing at all, but it still always seemed to be her most simple outfits that caught his attention.

She leaned in towards him and took a step into his room, lowering her voice even more, "I wanted to grab a few things just as a surprise for everyone. We should maybe look into buying a few things for the flower viewing since that's coming up soon as well."

Kazuma nodded, but otherwise said nothing.

Bishamon leaned back and gave a tilt of her head, "Are you feeling alright? Your face looks a little flushed…"

"I'm fine." He shook his head and adjusted his glasses before quickly changing the subject, "Are you sure you want to go to the viewing Iki-san is holding after what happened last year? We could always go another time."

This time it was Bishamon who blushed before her temper took hold, "Don't worry about that idiot. I'm fairly sure he won't be trying such a thing ever again." She turned her head, looking to the floor, "And it wouldn't be fair to avoid everyone else because of that."

Kazuma blinked and exhaled slowly, "Right. Well, just let me know when you're ready. I'll get my things together."

"Just meet me at the end of the hallway." She spun on her heels, her shoes clacking against the marble floor as she walked away.

He turned around and held his hand to his chest, a small smile on his face as he felt his heart racing, 'Sorry, Veena…'He stopped in front of his desk, taking a few more breaths until he regained his composure.
