[Stevie]

"I can't believe we're going to this school next week." I said, amazed. Starting at the beginning of the school year, Kacey, Grace, and I will be going to the very prestigious Brewster High School. As Kacey parked her red convertible under a tall, oak tree she said, "I can't believe it either. Can you imagine how many cute guys could fit into one classroom?" Kacey said, daydreaming.

"I think we got accepted into this school because we wanted to study here, not to flirt with cute guys." I said, snapping my fingers in front of her face.

"I don't know Stevie. What would happen if a guy came up to you and said that you were beautiful?" Grace said, shaking her head in the backseat.

"A guy will say she's beautiful, Grace. Look at her." Kacey said, pushing my hair behind my ears.

"Oh you guys think you are so sure a guy from Brewster High would call me beautiful?" They nodded. "Well, then prove it."

"Excuse, me ladies, but this is private property, and I'm afraid you're going to have to leave." A man in uniform came up to us, and looked at our car as if it was parked on top of a bunch of kindergarteners. He then took out his pad of tickets and started writing down information.

"No, no, no! We are just waiting for, um, a meeting…we're registering here for the next school year! We're not trespassing!" Kacey said, trying to grab for her bag to show the copy of the email, but three guys came up to the officer and said, "It's alright, man. They really do have a meeting. Just relax."

"Fine. But I trust you boys, and if you let me down-"

"We won't. You have our word on this." The officer left, and Kacey gave my knee a playful squeeze and Grace gave us a look that said, 'they're sooo cute!' I sighed and shifted in my seat to face the group of boys.

"Alright, how did you guys know we had a meeting? We're you spying on us?" I asked, lifting my sunglasses to get a better look. One guy had dark skin, short hair, and had drumsticks sticking out of his back pocket. Another guy had pale skin, brown hair, and was giving Grace an awkward but cute wave, and surprising Grace was giving the same one back. The third guy had black, thick hair; he was wearing a red flannel shirt, and had a ukulele cake strapped to his back. He was also wearing black aviators like me.

"Well," Uke Boy started, "I'm an office assistant this year, and I saw your name-" he pointed to Kacey, "-on the register list."

"And how to you know I'm Kacey?" Kacey scoffed.

"Is this your car?"

"Yes…?"

"Well your license plate says, 'I'm Kacey!'"

"Oh yeah, huh…"

"Well, Kacey, I'm Kevin." The dark skinned guy said, shaking her hand. Kacey only batted her eyes and giggled flirtatiously.

"And I'm Nelson." The guy with the brown hair squeaked, kissing Grace's hand.

"I'm Grace." She giggled, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and scoff.

"And you are…?" The guy with black hair asked as he lifted his sunglasses.

"Stevie."

"Well, Stevie, I'm Zander. And saving your newbie butts isn't the main reason why I came over here."

"Oh yeah? Then what is?" I asked.

"I came here to talk to you." He pointed at me, smiling. My eyes widened and Grace and Kacey both swooned together.

"You came here…to talk to me…why?" Before he could answer, we heard a horrifying screech coming from a girl down the street. "ZANDER!" The girl had on Coach Sunglasses, was holding a Gucci designer brand handbag, and was wearing a Vera Wang limited edition sundress. (A/N: I had to look all of those brand names up. My personality is EXACTLY like Stevie's, and I didn't know ANY of those brands existed.)

"Oh no. Red Alert, guys!" Nelson said, dropping Grace's hand. They all sprinted off, but before they got too far, Zander came up to me, slipped a piece of paper in my hand and said, "I came to talk to you because I thought you were beautiful, and I was right." Then he ran off before this mysterious girl caught up to him. I unfolded the paper, and written in neat handwriting, said,

I'm very bored of my cell phone number.

Call me!

-Zander

I blushed and smiled, since he has no idea how much I love cheesy pick up lines. I looked up, and I saw Grace and Kacey looking at me.

"What?" I asked. Grace pointed at the piece of paper and said, "There's the proof you were asking for."
