Kage: So what? On with the fic.
Idiots. They all are. I can't believe that I was even friends with them. I have always been a hero, with Rockman by my side, but find out that he was once my brother and they delete him and desert me.
I walked the dark alley. The darkness comforted me in a way that nobody else could. I sighed. 'If only Rockman could enjoy this,' I thought.
Soon, my thoughts strayed to my past. Meiru, I thought that she was my best friend, but now she sees me as the enemy. I'll show her the enemy. If only Rockman was here, we would take down anyone who stood in our way.
Tears filled my eyes as I remembered how they took my PET away and made me watch as they deleted Rockman. He was able to break the link we had so I wouldn't die, but I wish he hadn't.
"Excuse me," a voice said. I looked up. It was a girl.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Don't you remember me, Netto-kun?"
At the moment she said my name; all my memories came rushing into my brain.
"Kage-sama, it's an honor," I replied.
"Of course it is," she replied, adjusting her glasses. "What's your answer?"
"May I have a moment to think?"
"But of course," Kage said with a grin. "But first a present." She snapped her fingers and I grew unconscious.
"Where am I?" I ask as I looked around. It was a room. A small room that seemed to hold many secrets.
"Hello, Netto-kun," a familiar voice said. I turned around.
"Rockman!"
He smiled sadly. "I am no longer Rockman. I am only Saito."
"You are still my brother."
"As Kage-sama gave you a gift, she gave me a burden."
"A burden?"
"She sealed Greiga and Falzer into me. I am their controller. I can call upon them at will. But they are very annoying."
"We are not annoying," another voice said. It belonged to Greiga.
"I agree." This came from Falzer.
"But you are still weaker than me," Greiga said.
"No, I am stronger!" Falzer retorted. They disappeared.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"They were annoying," Saito replied.
"So, should I accept my destiny?"
"That is your decision alone, Netto. But I will support whatever decision you make. Now, wake up."
"Okay Rock…I mean Saito. I will talk to you soon." With that, my mind shifted into reality.
"So, what is your choice?" Kage asked me when I returned.
"I will accept my destiny. I will become the Prince of Darkness."
"Wonderful," she said and smiled. I was pulled into the darkness.
Kage: Am I evil or what? Poor Rockman was deleted. Oh well.
