Chapter 1
"GAH!" I scream bolting up in bed panting. Shaking my head to get the scary image out of my head. Then I lay back in bed to get some more sleep before I have to go to school. Man I hate the dark and whatever that weird symbol of... whatever it was. What does it all mean? Oh well back to bed. I thought.
An hour later I wake up to the song Thunder by Imagine Dragons.
"Ugh! I don't want to get up!" I moan.
"ELIZA RIVERS!" mum screams.
I finally get out of bed, grab my favourite t-shirt and jeans and get dressed. For breakfast a grabbed a bowl of cereal and quickly eat so I can be ready for school.
HONK!
"Bye mum!" I yell back.
I get into the car waiting for me and drive away.
