"Kitty, have you ever wondered what will happen after all this?" Puss said one day. They were laying on a green field, looking up into the sky. Clouds lazily floated by, changing into indistinct shapes, going wherever the wind takes them. In a way, that was like Puss and Kitty.

The Tuxedo cat stirred in her trance of staring at the white fluffballs in the sky. She turned her head to face her 'boyfriend' and yawned.

"What did you say?"

"I mean, what will we do after we finish all the big scores?" His mouth curved into a frown. After going separate ways with Humpty, he had begun thinking a lot about the future. Whether he should just keep on going with Kitty, or he would find some quiet town and just stay there.

"I've.. never thought about that."

Kitty sank deep into the green grass. She took Puss' paws and kept them there. Answering with confidence, she replied, "I don't know actually. But I was thinking, maybe we should just experience everything. My dream has always been to travel over the world, see new things. Meet new people.."

"Woah, stop there. I hope you mean meet new friends, not new male kitty cats," he chuckled laughing at the speechless girl next to her. She smiled, and rolled on top of him. Her paw stroke his cheeks and she nuzzled her nose against his.

"Who needs another man, again? I've got one right here."

"Mummy! Can I go with you guys?" A small golden cat ran to her parents, her blue eyes shone brightly in the moonlit sky.

"What do you think, Puss? Shall we?" Kitty smiled at her husband, tilting her black fedora. She fingered her dagger while waiting for the response.

Puss stared out into the quiet asleep town, thinking of the answer. His eyes shone and he turned towards his family. He crouched down, and their daughter ran into his awaiting arms. Cuddling her close, he whispered, "Are you ready?"

Laughing like her mother, she stood up with her hind legs with confidence.

"Of course I am, Dad."

They were ready to go out and venture into the city, which was filled with new people and such. All three of the cat vigilante family hooked their swords to their belts. Puss looked back to his hometown. He would surely miss it, but like always, he would come back again.
